They catered our wedding (12/4) and everything was phenomenal.

Food - heard from multiple people that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. My niece said "this chicken is not good...it's GREAT". I was also impressed with how well the large portions for 70 people matched the small tasting we had for 2. The andouille pasta, bacon-wrapped dates, and mushroom risotto were huge hits.

Bar - lines were never long, everything was the right temperature, and we were given sample drinks beforehand to make sure the mixes were all right. the bartender also helped me take a shot with my mom for the first time together! we asked for local beers to give our out of town guests a portland flavor, and got a variety of IPA's that completely fit the bill.

Communication - so yes, we read the negative reviews recently and asked them about it. they were very honest and we got comfort in their answer - we had ZERO issues. Lisa was our main contact and also our bartender, so she was there with us all day and was very helpful with both suggesting rental items we didn't need and getting our scheduling down on the right timeline. an extra server was needed last minute to help with extra details at our venue but after a discussion this extra amount was not charged to us - which was a huge help as all the extra bills came in after the wedding.

basically, everything was great and i would not have changed a thing!

I've used Divine Catering for work events for several years to great success and they were the first ones I called when my fiance and I decided to do a small, intimate brunch reception after delaying our wedding by a year (thanks, COVID!). Rob was super responsive and helped us build a menu for brunch and then worked with our coordinator for drop off service. Everyone raved about the food and we would highly recommend.

Divine Catering recently catered our wedding and we could not have been more pleased! The food was absolutely fantastic and the servers were wonderful. We enjoyed working with Divine Catering so much and will be using them for any future catering events. I cannot recommend their services enough and I highly recommend the beef tenderloin with gorgonzola sauce, the dijon caramelized salmon, and the summer squash rollatini.

I also appreciated their prompt communication as we had a previous catering company fall through after their communication dried up. Rob was always quick to respond to my emails and phone calls. They got us in for a tasting very quickly and were very attentive during the tasting, I seriously could not have asked for more in a catering company.

Easy to communicate and a wide variety of options available. The food was absolutly delicious. The service was beyond wonderful and would love to use them again for any future catering needs.

Divine catering is the company to use for your wedding and large events! From the first email I sent Rob (The event manager), he always replied in a timely fashion and was extremely helpful and real with us. We met him for a tasting in the summer of 2018 and he was very welcoming and explained all the different packages they had to offer. We signed with them within 24 hours and had them booked for our big day. Not to mention that they have a TON of different menu items and you for sure will find multiple items you will want to serve. One of the main reasons we wanted to book them is they offered the food, the staff, and the bartenders at a very reasonable price. They also offer place settings and linens, so it makes it much easier when planning.

Fast forward 2 years and here we are in 2020 with covid. Due to Covid, we rescheduled our May wedding to September and had to downsize our wedding by more than half the amount of guests. Rob was AMAZING to work with as I probably sent him about 20 emails between May and September CONSTANTLY changing out numbers and our order. He never once complained and worked with us every step of the way. He let us change our order as many times as we needed to be within the covid guidelines for our wedding.

On our wedding day, the food was delicious and so many of our guests made comments. Several guests went back for seconds and thirds. The staff also checked it with our coordinator and me as the bride to make sure everything was up to our expectations and asked if there was any more they could do. They even wrapped up and let us take home the left overs.

Overall, I would recommend this company to anyone. Their communication, flexability, and quality was well worth the price and made this process of planning so smooth. I hope we get to use them again for smaller events we may host in the future!

Our previous caterer cancelled on us about a month before the wedding, and divine saved the day! The good is absolutely delicious, and so reasonably priced! The server even helped us cut the cake that my mom made, and took everyone's plates when they were done with them

Divine catering just catered out wedding and it was amazing. Working with Rob Lester throughout the entire process was great. He was very helpful, personable, and responsive. At the wedding the food was delicious and the staff was so nice and helpful.

I am very happy with my experience with the divine and compared to many other wedding caterers their prices are very reasonable and options very diverse!

We loved having Divine do our wedding catering. They were a great team to work with - from the floor flip between the ceremony/reception, to bartending our 200+ crowd with no lines or issues, they were a great team. We continue to get so many compliments on how good the food was! They were so easy to work with during the planning process, always friendly and responsive and timely. Thank you guys!!
