Stylish transportation without breaking the bank

I had my coordinator research costs of transportation with various vendors -- Turns out that Dial7 was the most affordable and best option for us. Just because you choose the affordable option does not mean you need to sacrifice quality! We chose the VIP options and the car quality was fantastic, timely and great driving. Note: There are some issues with booking multiple cars at the same time from the same account/originating location, so you might need multiple people to create accounts to tackle the reservations.

I booked Dial 7 for all of our wedding day transportation as well as our honeymoon airport drop off and pick up. I couldn't have been more pleased at how smoothly everything ran. I changed my reservations several times and had four different cars going to four different locations with no problems. I saved a ton of money by not booking a limo and they still took special care knowing it was a wedding. My driver showed up 20 minutes early and did not charge for any wait time while the bridesmaids and I finished getting ready and got in the car. Thank you for great service!

They were on time and were very accommodating when they had to wait for us a bit after the reception. All together a very smooth interaction and very inexpensive.

I hired a limo for 2 hours and they wouldn't write down the itinerary in advance, so I had to spend the whole time explaining to the driver where we were going instead of just relaxing. Also, I had to look for the driver at the pick up address, because he couldn't be bothered to try and find me. And the worst part is that they require 20% gratuity regardless of the quality of service.

Our experience with Dial 7 was wildly unprofessional and should not happen for ANY event, especially events so big, carefully orchestrated, and costly as weddings.

We hired a Mercedes Sprinter van to transport the bride, bridesmaids, families of the bride and groom, and photographer from the hotel to Brooklyn Bridge Park, and an 8-person limo to transport the groom and groomsmen from our home. Vehicle use period was >3hrs, with two issues. Wasted valuable, carefully-planned time, enraged our photographer, and made the day more difficult. FWIW, office staff were very friendly and competent, and assured me all would go smoothly.

Day-of the limo showed up to pick up the groomsmen, and the driver did not know where he was headed - despite MULTIPLE confirmations w/ the office. Once told, he did not know how to get there - "I'm not familiar with Brooklyn." He was very friendly, but this was not the driver for this job.

The situation was worse for the Sprinter van. A very short (10-15 min max) trip from the hotel at Smith & Atlantic Ave to Brooklyn Bridge Park, right beneath the Manhattan Bridge. We had a very carefully planned pre-wedding photo session scheduled. Luckily, we had budgeted extra time, but that does not excuse the foul-up. The driver took the wrong turn, and the wrong road, taking us ONTO the Brooklyn Bridge and into Manhattan. We had to get to the other side of the bridge, turn around on City Hall area (very dicey and crowded), and make our way back across the bridge and back into the DUMBO area. This cost us valuable time, and deeply upset our photographer, who had less time to do HIS job.

We made it in time, but with far more agita than needed. There is a communication breakdown btwn the office and drivers, who are not given the information or jobs they are suitable for. We did not receive an apology from the driver that day, OR from the company afterward.

I was late to my own wedding - by an hour and a half, and 40 minutes of it was the driver's fault. He couldn't find the venue; he got lost; he circled the Park (Prospect Park Boathouse) 3 times, and then inside, as well. He forgot the parking permit. He wouldn't listen to us (bridal party) when we told him to "GO" at a road inside the park, and insisted on calling over 2 policeman to ask them if he could go forward. They shrugged, and went back to their conversation. The driver paused, before we yelled at him some more to keep going - as we were already extremely late. He stopped to roll down his window and wave to pedestrians in the park. All this company needed to do was provide us with a driver that knew where he was going - definitely look elsewhere.

Dial7 was the worst part of my wedding day. The car that I booked to take me to the photo location never showed up. I begged each driver of the other two cars that I had booked for my bridesmaids to take me to the photo location and they both refused saying they couldn't change the route. I ended having to completely skip the photo location due to their errors and refusing to be flexible. The service was rude, unhelpful, and very expensive.
