We had a great time working with Cary and Chris to capture our wedding day! The photos are beautiful and great memories to have for many years to come! 2020 was a hard year for us all, especially while planning a wedding. The minute we decided to postpone from our date in May to October, Cary was incredibly flexible with our new date and change of plans (especially given that our venue change was a lot farther away then originally expected)! On the day of the wedding, Cary and Chris were true professionals. Cary was recommended to us from our cousin who used him for her wedding and we had hired him to shoot our proposal. We were happy to have him shoot that next step in our life and hopefully more milestones to come. We are so happy to have chosen CSM Photography and loved worked with Cary!

Cary was the hidden photographer during the proposal and of course will be doing both our engagement shoot and wedding. We are super excited to have him because he takes the time to really get to know us as a couple and what is important to us on the most important day of our lives. We originally chose to work with Cary because we were blown away with his online portfolio. He has a gift with capturing natural emotions, interactions, and experiences on camera without staging every photo. When we first met with Cary, he took a genuine interest in making sure he planned around who we were as a couple and photographing our wedding day in a way that would reflect what was most meaningful to us. Now that we have our wedding photos in hand, I can tell you that he went above and beyond in delivering on that. First, our engagement shoot was so fun-Cary is so easygoing and just a great guy. What we thought would be a little awkward was actually totally comfortable, and it gave us so many gorgeous photos and a save the date that impressed everyone. On our wedding day, we had Cary and Noreen with us. They were both so professional and honestly, just great people to have around with us. They let us completely enjoy the day without being intrusive or distracting, but still didn't miss a moment. Ultimately, they gave us the best of both worlds- artistic, beautifully composed, and creative photos, as well as absolutely gorgeous formal photos of our families and wedding party. Looking through these photos is like reliving how everyone actually experienced and enjoyed the day, rather than just seeing a chronological order of events. They were beautifully edited, with each one being meaningful to us in some way. Being able to look back on our wedding day and all the people we love enjoying it with us is priceless to us, and we couldn't be happier with the final product. CSM's pricing is also just a great value, given the awesome quality of the work and when compared to other photographers' packages we considered. The basic package gave more than enough time to cover the entire day, including our ceremony, 5 hour reception, and getting ready photos. Very highly recommended. We're so grateful we chose CSM Photography.

Having Cary as our wedding photographer was one of the best moves we made during our wedding planning process. Cary is personable, energetic, and extremely talented. We first did our engagement photos with him in Old City and we loved the way that he directed us. We walked around with some spots in mind, but Cary also took us wherever he felt the pictures would come out best depending on the lighting and setting. After doing our engagement photos we couldn't wait to have him do our wedding. The day of our wedding Cary made us feel so comfortable and excited. He did a great job directing us and keeping us on the timeline. We even got our pictures back while we were away on our honeymoon! Then when we got back we met up with Cary again where he showed us all of our photos. It was just like reliving our wedding day. From beginning to end our experience with Cary was excellent. I cannot say enough great things about him and his work!

Planning a wedding is without a doubt a stressful time but finding vendors that make that easier is KEY. Cary hands down eased my mind several times during the last year of planning my wedding. I live in California and my wedding was in New Jersey which was super fun and easy to plan...NOT. Cary was always available. Texts, calls, emails and even FaceTime! When the wedding finally arrived he was honestly the only thing I wasn't stressed about. He made everything so simple and FUN. Him and Chris made me and my now husband so comfortable while taking pictures. He has a great eye and suggested so many pictures that came out beautiful. If you're looking for someone that is going to enhance your wedding instead of be an added stressor, Cary is 100% your guy! I would highly recommend him and his team to anyone!

We used Cary for our wedding this past June and could not have been happier with our experience from start to finish. My wife and I immediately clicked with Cary, his easy going yet focused attitude was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding photographer.
When we met for our engagement shoot, Cary did an amazing job at making us feel loose and comfortable. That paired with his knowledge of lighting and angles resulted in amazing shots we were excited to use for our save the dates and invitations.
Day of the wedding Cary, and his assistant for the day Chris, were a blast. They cracked jokes and kept the mood light and fun while still keeping everyone on schedule. They did a great job capturing our style and the feel of the night from formal couple picks to fun wedding party group shots, to dancing candids.
The turnaround on the pictures was unbelievable as well. I have personally heard horror stories of couples waiting months to get there pictures back, not with Cary, our pictures were back within 6 weeks of the event and we couldn't have been happier with them.
We made our fair share of mistakes during the wedding planning process but choosing Cary and CSM Photography was not one of them, I can not recommend Cary enough!

We used CSM Photography for our wedding and engagement photos, and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. For the engagement photos, I had some specific ideas of shots that I wanted to include that involved driving over an hour to the ocean and getting in the water. Cary was incredibly accommodating and enthusiastic during the entire process, and made a sunrise photoshoot a fantastic experience. He has a great eye for detail and captures natural shots that reflect the personalities and relationship of the couple, unlike some of the staged and 90s-looking prom-pose pictures you see so often. Due to some family circumstances and travel, I was hoping to have a few photos available soon after the engagement session, but Cary got them ALL processed and ready for me in only 2 weeks! I could not be more grateful for his dedication and passion for what he does. On the day of the wedding, Cary was on time and very professional, and handled everything for us – from putting together the timeline for prep and photos to corralling all of the necessary members of the family and bridal party for their respective shots, so that we were actually ahead of schedule prior to the ceremony. He even found additional sites for photos after the ceremony that captured views of the ocean without my having to get sand in my shoes (!) and scheduling some shots during the reception to get beautiful sunset photos. We actually got all of our wedding photos (more than 2,000 of them!) less than 30 days after the wedding, and had a private reveal session in Cary’s studio with champagne, which felt so personal. Overall, Cary was such a joy to work with, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who wants to capture the special moments!

How has it been a month since our special day already? What an incredible day/ weekend/ month... it really does all go by way too fast!!! We were first introduced to Cary through another photographer who didn't have our date open. We were so unbelievably lucky to have had this happen because we can't imagine anyone else shooting our day. Cary is very laid back like we are, so right off the bat, we knew we were going with him. Through the whole process, Cary made it a point to really get to know us and was even willing to meet with us at a brewery for our final meeting. With that being said, he is extremely professional as well. When our wedding day came, Cary and his second photographer, Chris, made sure to capture every detail of the day. My husband and I are forever grateful to Cary and Chris for all of the hard work and creativity they put into capturing our day!
