Working with Michele and her team was such a wonderful experience! She truly is a phenomenal planner, and her service and team is absolutely incredible! I would recommend her and her team to absolutely everyone I know. She took on an estate wedding from complete scratch, including RAW land, and made the most beautiful spectacular wedding that our family and friends are still raving about. Her attention to detail, and professionalism is unparalleled. She helped with stresses that I never could have foreseen, and always stayed true to our vision. She was a shoulder to lean on, and an ear to listen through all of the ups and downs that a wedding of that magnitude brings. Michelle at Couture Occasions did a fabulous job for my late husband’s Celebration of Life event. She took all the worries away from me at this very difficult time and made the venue so personal to everything that represented him. I could not thank her enough. Because she also did my daughters wedding so exceptionally well I had all the confidence in her for this event I know for any future events I will always refer to her as my go to event planner and would recommend her to all my family and friends.

Michelle at Couture Occasions was in charge of my fathers Celebration of life. She also did my fabulous wedding in 2018 so naturally we asked her to help at this horrible time in my families life. She handled this event with so much care and attention to detail, It was just how we wanted it and then some. The way she executed our vision was spot on. As a male, I don't usually leave reviews, but this was exceptional! We celebrated at the location where we first met, 28 years ago...and wanted a casual, yet refined ambiance, as well as my wife included my 80th birthday! Michele provided every infinite detail of both plans, exact to our specifications...as well as gave us many helpful, intelligent and inspirational 'hints' to even better our celebration! Not only were my wife and I astounded by her professionalism, but amazed that she actually listened to our every detail! Our Anniversary Celebration was more than a success...it was an evening as vibrant and sentimental as our wedding, 25 years ago...and one we, and our guests, will never forget! We STILL get compliments from our family and friends!

I cannot say enough great things about Michele from Couture Occasions! We never knew how much we needed her until we met her for the first time during our consultation. I was already a few months into planning my destination wedding and I was already overwhelmed. With a full time management job and a family of 4 to balance, planning a destination wedding was just a tremendous amount of stress that I wasn't prepared for and it was starting to effect myself, my husband and my kids. Michele took all of that weight off my shoulders and carried it on hers like a boss! Working with her was an honor. From day one she had our best interest in mind. She took the time to know and understand what we envisioned as our dream wedding first and then she took off and put 110% into everything. As time went on, she NEVER wavered. She helped us renegotiate our existing vendor contracts to ensure we were getting the best value, and helped us procure new vendor contracts at the best cost and quality we were looking for, while remaining within our budget. She shared her veteran advise with us and made recommendations when warranted but NEVER imposed them on us. When the road got bumpy at times (because believe me, it will when you'd least expect it) she was right there with me to keep me calm and to smooth them out. She does what she says and says what she means. The best thing that she did for us though was on our wedding day. She just killed it. She rocked that day. She made it all happen for us. She made sure every little detail that we planned out in our heads for almost a year straight came to fruition in the best way possible. The entire day went so well and I was able to LIVE in the moment thanks to her. She took on all of the stress and hard work so that we could really ENJOY that day. She was a part of every detail coordinating our vendors, ensuring the venue was clean and setup the way we wanted it, the placement of the napkins and dinnerware on the tables, location of the photo booth, timing of our processional, guiding our guests to their destinations, being the point of contact for everyone and fielding all of their questions, etc. etc... Then there was the Grand Reveal which is an experience that I never knew I wanted prior to that day. I didn't even ask her to set this up but she did anyway and AJ and I are so extremely grateful for it because it was a defining moment on our wedding day. It was a moment where my husband and I were able to see our ballroom for the first time and before anyone else got to see it. I had been planning this day since I was a little girl, and for a year straight, it was all I could think of and all AJ and I could talk about. And walking into that ballroom and seeing it all come together was a humbling and emotionally powerful experience. Michele cared enough about us and making our day special to coordinate that for us and surprise us with it. But It doesn't stop there! At the end of our wedding, she surprised us by decorating our room with rose pedals. a drawn bath, champagne and FOOD for us to enjoy our first night as a married couple. She really went above and beyond for us! I would recommend her to the next bride a MILLION times over!

So this year has been one for the books, and the best decision I made was hiring Michele as our wedding planner. Not only was I busy renovating and selling my house and working on a refinance to another house, but I was also a bridemaid in another wedding and dealt with all the responsibilities that came with that. Throughout all of this, Michele was in the background carefully going over every detail for my wedding, and spent as much time as needed talking me through everything that needed to be decided on and making sure I wasn't too overwhelmed. With every issue that arouse, she was able to think on her feet and make sure they were quickly handled. I can't say enough about how much weight was lifted off of my shoulders knowing that I had a very capable and reliable wedding planner to make executive decisions when they needed to be made yet still ensuring we stayed within our budget and stuck with my vision. Michele and her team are a god-send and I highly-recommend her to anyone looking! Even my wedding guests would say the same (just ask the one who spilled red wine on her light-pink dress and was quickly attacked with a tide-to-go pen so that no stain was noticeable). I literally still have my sanity right now because of Couture Occasions! Thank you again for being AMAZING!!!

Michele was AMAZING! She guided us throughout the entire process, paying close attention to every detail. She was patient with changes to our needs, and was very communicative. Her ultimate goal was to ensure that we enjoyed are special day, and she far exceeded our expectations! She was always at an arms distance during the wedding day. Her vision came to life and left us in awe of how incredible everything turned out. We now consider her a great friend, as this experience is one we'll cherish for the rest of our lives. I cannot recommend Michele highly enough. I was shopping around for a day-of wedding planner about a year and a half before my wedding, and Michele made me realize I needed a full planner.
She would actually make more money doing just day-of, but she is committed to providing the best experience for her clients.

Michele worked in my budget, and I'm quite certain that her contract negotiation skills actually saved me more money than I paid her for her services. She goes above and beyond, driving hours to meet with her clients, cleaning and organizing all inventory prior to the wedding, and she deals with the headache of coordinating vendors. She also has a long list of vendors that she's worked with in the past, and everyone she recommended to me was fantastic.

Most importantly, Michele helped me get through the emotional ups and downs of planning a wedding. Weddings are so stressful - more stressful than I could have ever imagined - but she makes it as fun and easy as possible for the bride. She is full of words of wisdom, and my husband and I learned a lot of valuable lessons from her.

When I first got engaged in late 2016, I was going to plan my wedding without a wedding planner but when I started researching venues in my area I realized that I needed help finding one. I reached out to Michele when I thought finding a wedding venue in Sonoma County on a small budget seemed impossible. Michele found a few venues that were willing to work with us, and she came out and visited the locations with me. After visiting Vintner's Inn, I knew it was the venue of my dreams and Michele made it possible for us to have our wedding there. She also found us amazing vendors (Photographer, DJ) that we would not have been able to get without her as well. Michele worked with us for over a year and a half and helped us with so much stuff for the wedding, including narrowing down the style and all the little details (and helping me not go crazy). Everything turned out absolutely beautiful, and the wedding day went by smoothly and seamlessly. Michele and her helpers did such a great job with the decor and design in the ballroom, and at the ceremony site as well. We were so happy and grateful for all of Michele's time and hard work.
