Our anniversary party that Sara planned was beautiful and unique. Sara did everything she promised and more. She was a delight to work with. Thank u Sara Bacon !

We absolutely LOVED working with Sara from Clink and Cake! From the very beginning she was extremely understanding of what we wanted our wedding day to look like, and on top of that was able to add suggestions to make it even better! We picked the day-of coordinator package and in preparation of it all met up for 1 virtual meeting and 2 in person meetings to make sure everything was moving along smoothly (she also checked in quite often to ensure that we were staying in track with booking all of the different vendors).
During the rehearsal Sara was extremely helpful as well, she had previously visited the venue to make sure how the logistics would work best (also talked to the owners to get additional information regarding the venues operations which was amazing). Once we went through the rehearsal, she then stayed and set up the venue EXACTLY how we wanted it. It looked like a dream!

Once we got to the day off, Sara was on top of things from the get go. We had so many guests come up to us amazed at just how smoothly the entire night went.
Finally when the wedding came to an end Sara did not miss a beat with having everything cleaned up promptly and the final vendors paid off!

Sara is AMAZING!! She came in a few months before our wedding and my husband and I agree that she's the best money we could have spent. She was professional, attentive, responsive, proactive, and just an all-around pleasure to work with. She understood my vision better than I did and was able to execute the absolute wedding of my dreams. Seriously, I gave almost no direction for the decor and she took what I gave her and made magic. She came up with ideas and recommendations I never would have and she asked all the questions I had no idea to ask. We would have been lost without her.

Sara communicated well with vendors, with our wedding party, and with everyone else involved. She even went so far as to file our marriage license for us! I truly cannot recommend Sara and Clink and Cake enough - thank you endlessly for everything that you did to help us!

As a wedding videographer, I had the pleasure of working with Sara recently. From the moment we met, I was struck by her warm and friendly personality. Throughout the event, it was clear that she genuinely cared about the couple and all of the vendors involved.

Her positive attitude and cheerful demeanor helped to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere which made our job as vendors so much easier.

Sara is so personable and was very kind in assisting me, answering any questions I had, and even offered to help carry my gear. I would highly recommend her to any couple seeking a wedding planner with a warm and friendly personality who will go above and beyond to ensure that your special day runs smoothly.

Clink and Cake did not provide the wonderful wedding experience that we expected. Our interaction with Sara left us frustrated, stressed, and in multiple instances angry both while the planning the wedding, and especially on the day-of. We acknowledge that using a planner who is considered "budget friendly" could leave us needing to put extra effort into the event ourselves, but we did not expect that it would result in a lack of services and unprofessionalism. Below we have provided a list of pros and cons from working with this organization as well as a summary of the experience:

Cons:
- Errors in vendor documents
- Unorganized during rehearsal
- Poor execution of details and instructions
- Missed events during the reception
- Disputes with members of the wedding party
- Carelessness with personal and décor items

As the wedding approached, we found ourselves needing to correct errors in the timeline, make corrections to documents distributed to vendors, and having conversations with Sara about the same topic on numerous occasions to ensure details were clear.

During the rehearsal it was apparent that she had not studied and understood the processional and recessional orders, even after they had been discussed over video-conference three days prior. It got to the point where we had to take over and direct the wedding party as we had planned because of the time constraints at the venue. She gave the impression to our wedding party that we were unclear in what we wanted for the ceremony, when in reality we had provided documents and had at-length discussions about the exact details of what we were looking for.

On the morning-of she had a poor attitude when interacting with the family of the bride or the wedding party when issues arose. She did not track invoices and orders (florals and cake) that were provided to her, and rather than acting in a professional manner, she became agitated and angry with the individuals trying to correct the issues, eventually getting into arguments in front of the bride. These incidents took place while the bride was putting on her wedding dress, ruining what should have been a special moment with her mother.

Prior to the wedding reception a master timeline had been distributed to all vendors with the key events and times in which they would take place. She and the DJ (who was one of her recommendations) both missed the groom’s grandparents giving a blessing before the meal, taking away a very special moment for them. The cutting of the cake (which involved a generational family tradition) was treated as an afterthought after it was clearly communicated how important the event was.

Following the event we waited over a week to post reviews in the hopes that she would reach out to us to discuss the event and receive feedback directly from us. Unfortunately this did not happen until we notified her of the reviews being posted, and offered to get on a call to go over the feedback again. After more than one attempt she still has not shown any desire to have the conversation, which is only validating our observations as there is no acceptance of accountability on her part.

All in all, we regret using Clink and Cake as our wedding coordinator. Their services and demeanor significantly impacted our special day in a negative manner. What we initially thought would be a great relationship turned poor as the wedding date approached and became sour on the day-of. Our wedding should have been one of the best days of our lives, and we do look back on it with so many good memories, but her lack of organization and unprofessionalism did ruin many portions of our day and leaves us with feelings of embarrassment and regret.
