Along with photographing weddings, Becker has worked in several genres within photography. Commercially, he has been a staff photographer and produced work for corporations such as Honeywell Inc., Toyota, and Northwest Airlines. Within the editorial genre, he photographed and has written several stories for National Geographic Adventure, World Geographic, Down East and The New York Times. He has been featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC) for his travels in the arctic, and recently written up in the New York Times for his fine art work.

What recent clients have to say: I have to tell you, we were thrilled with Chris and his fiancee's work. We originally were planning to use a traditional, one-trick-pony wedding photographer, but after thinking about and, upon meeting Chris, we completely changed our mind and hired him almost immediately. His artistic background and professional work blew us away. His shots are very unique and artistic; you end up feeling like your a model doing a shoot for a magazine, whereas the old style photographers are stuffy and miss out on the best shots because they're thinking with a one-track mind. I'm not sure if you saw his photo of the bride in NY coming down the stairs, but that's what we expected and what he and his fiancee delivered.
