Wendy Dahl is the best wedding planner ever! She is so well experienced, organized and communicative. She went above and beyond anything I expected of a wedding planner. I was so proud to tell my family and friends how amazing and helpful she was. She is so well connected and helped us pick the best vendors. She is so professional and worked so well with all our vendors. I was so grateful she had so much experience because she knew the ins and outs of all things wedding. She was so fun to work with and bounce ideas off of as well. She brought our wedding vision to life even beyond what we envisioned. Our wedding day would not of been the same without her- she is amazing! Her daughter and son also helped on the wedding day and it was so sweet to work with them. I loved that she has a family owned business. You cannot go wrong with Team Chic!!

My husband Jon and I did thorough research before selecting our wedding planner. Palm Springs was a going to be destination wedding for us so we wanted to choose a planner who had great local connections, open to customizations that come with a gay wedding, and was down to earth. We knew we were going to be spending a lot of time with this person and wanted it to feel like we had a friend that was looking out for us along the way. That’s exactly what we got with Michelle!

From the start, Michelle impressed us not just with her organization and expertise but also with how well she listened and took into account our personal styles. There wasn’t a single moment in the process where we felt pressured. She was flexible with her schedule, which was key since we were limited with how often we could travel to Palm Springs. She was also open to video calls when we couldn’t meet in person.

We were looking for a unique wedding from the start so Michelle’s knowledge of vendors and realistic prices was key. When we were initially planning our budget online, the price ranges vary so widely so Michelle really helped us narrow that list down and prioritize what we should be doing and when.

We spent a year planning and were devastated when COVID hit the week of our wedding. We went from a 100 person event to an intimate ceremony in the desert with just our parents in attendance. I don’t think we could have made it through those final weeks if it wasn’t for Michelle working with our vendors and calming our nerves. We had developed such a close relationship with Michelle that she ended up being the officiant in our ceremony! We look at that those pictures now and are so happy because of the amount of time and thoughtfulness she put into making that day as special as could it could be.

Working with Wendy was an amazing experience! She was very familiar with Indian weddings that I was immediately comfortable with her services. She was always available and responsive to calls and emails. Her wedding timeline was super helpful and kept everyone on task. She is a super positive person and every bride needs that on their wedding day.

I can't say enough good things about Wendy. She is such a gem. I met with her after booking my wedding venue and she was in the list of available coordinators. I met with her and it was live at first sight. She could read my thoughts, I swear. She made planning my wedding so easy, even though I only used her as a "month of" coordinator, she made herself available for questions any time and helps me all asking the way.

Wendy Dahl is an absolute star. She came very highly recommended by our venue coordinator, Vanessa Delp, at the Waterfront Hotel in Huntington Beach, and within 5 minutes of meeting her, it was obvious why. She is warm, patient, and confident- you know immediately that Wendy is not the kind of coordinator that is frantic and adding stress up to and on your big day. She is super organised and comes prepped with many great recommendations- we met with several vendors across the board and ended up vibing best with all of her top suggestions. Thanks to Wendy, we had the A team! As we were planning our wedding from abroad, this was a big relief and really cut down on the time we spent interviewing, checking up on, and following up with our vendors. We trusted her completely in terms of helping us to realise our vision. She tweaked certain design elements so that they were even better on the day than we had imagined or seen on Pinterest. Most importantly, she respected that we were paying for the wedding ourselves and still helped us achieve our dream wedding on our strict budget!

Words can't describe how grateful I am that our venue required us to hire a day-of coordinator. I don't know that I would have done so otherwise, but having Wendy / Chic Productions on board for our big day was absolutely essential. Beyond ensuring everything ran smoothly at the wedding, she was such a help in the lead-up. From timelines to vendor suggestions, she clearly knows the local wedding industry really well, and my favorite vendors had the highest of praise for her too! I was an out-of-town bride, and she was so gracious and generous with phone and email conversations and recommendations.

There was one moment at the wedding right as the groom and I were waiting to enter the reception where I started to panic. I told Wendy I didn't know where I'd put my purse, and I couldn't remember if we'd paid the cellist. She just smiled and told me my purse was on my chair and all of the day-of payments were handled, and the she asked me if I wanted to switch from my veil to the flower I had for my reception up-do. Of course, she had the accessory right there. It was like a light-switch had been flipped. I stopped worrying, confident that Wendy had everything covered, and started enjoying the party. It really was the most amazing, fun, memorable night of my life, and it wouldn't have been that way without Wendy.

Wendy Dahl from Chic Productions provided an amazing service for our Iranian/American wedding on May 31, 2014. We found Wendy from the preferred vendor list of our venue, the Waterfront Hilton Hotel in Huntington Beach. She was fantastic and made our wedding day a success. At first we were worried a little because she didn’t offer as much consultation time as the other coordinators for the price included in our Hilton package. But she is so organized and have obviously done this so many times that we didn’t really need any extra time. Within the two planning sessions we had with her, over the phone I might add because we were planning the wedding from Colorado, she covered everything. She made us a great timeline and packing list and was on top of everything. On the day of the wedding, she was such a big help, everything was running late and I didn’t have time to tell her where all the stuff I brought for the room and décor would go. It was all in two boxes and she figured it all out without me worrying about anything. I was very impressed on how she handled unexpected situations, including bustling my dress when my mother in law who was supposed to do it couldn’t be found ;) or running with a scissor to fix the bottom of my dress that got ripped up a little when we were taking those beautiful beach photos in the sand. Her recommendations of other vendors were also spot on! Just listen to her. Thank you Wendy for making our day so special.
