Dana was an absolute delight to work with. She exhibited great attention to detail, was extremely attentive to the needs of the wedding party, and flexible in all ways. And most importantly, her food was delicious. We can't recommend her enough!

Dana created the perfect menu for our backyard wedding - every single thing she made was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. She and her staff were so wonderful and took care of everything. It allowed us and our guests to enjoy the wedding stress free! I highly recommend her services, you will not be disappointed!

I planned my sister's entire wedding and hiring Catering by Dana was our best decision! For the first time during the entire wedding process I was able to relax and enjoy the event as Dana and her staff took over all the food/bar logistics that evening and put on quite an amazing dinner. Our guests continued to rave about the food the entire night! Not only was the food delicious, it was cooked perfectly which is a difficult feat when serving over 100 people. Dana is a joy to work with, extremely sweet, and very knowledgeable on what all needs to be accomplished when catering for a wedding. Look no further and hire Dana and her team for your next event. Dana is the absolute best! If you go with any other caterer you're not going to get the professionalism and absolutely brilliancy of Dana! First, her prices are the most competitive around. For 68 guests including dessert since we didn't have a wedding cake I want to say it was like 3500 including the rental equipment. Everyone else was quoting me $40-50 a person. Second, her tasting was a 4 course meal at her love home in Burke! What a kitchen! The day of the wedding, Dana and her staff stepped it up like no one else could have. The bar tender Obey was the best! Guests from our wedding still tell stories about him a year and a month later! The wait staff didn't just serve food, they made our entrance to the reception perfectly timed! My husband and I had planned a lot of the outdoor affair ourselves and didn't have a coordinator. With Dana, there is no need! We got together with some friends last week who were at our wedding, they're getting married in September in Shenandoah and they were so disapointed that the site they are having their reception at doesn't allow outside catering because the groom to be Brent still talks about Dana's food and how amazing it is!

Not only does Dana do weddings, she has done numerous catering events for my husband's Free Mason Lodge and all the men there just love her cooking!

Also, the week before our event, Dana called expressing some worries about the weather forecast and if it had to be inside the mansion, we would have made it work, but she said in all her years of catering she couldn't believe it was 80 and sunny, when the forecast was for thunder storms that day. She has the lucky touch in my book!!!

Dana Polk is the best, hands down and I'm disapointed this review doesn't allow me to give her more than 5 stars.

Dana was a wonderful person to work with, very accommodating and responsive. She answered all my questions right away. On the day of, she and her staff were able to move my outdoor wedding indoors with less than an hours notice. The buffet table was gorgeous and the food was delicious. I'm still getting compliments on how good all the food was long after the event. I would gladly use Catering By Dana again for another event and whole heartedly recommend her to friends and family.
