They were great. Incredibly easy to work with and helped to arrange some of the stranger requests we had for music. Their performance as well was great.

Steve and Bryce are both very talented musicians. I approached Steve upon a recommendation from a colleague of mine who is also a musician. I was looking for a rock violinist & guitarist duo to play for our cocktail hour. My colleague gave me Steve's info without hesitation and I am so glad he did. Steve worked with me a couple months before the wedding on a song list and they played music from Sam Smith to Michael Jackson. Steve and Bryce were amazing!! I still have friends commenting on how fabulous they sounded. I only wish I could have have seen them live rather than listen to them from my bridal suite. Thank you both!!!

Steven was terrific from the first contact to the day-of and we highly recommend booking the Castle Chamber Players (CCP) for your event! We're writing this review on behalf of Michelle's mom, who did the legwork to find this great group, and she had nothing but praise for her interactions with Steven and loved the end result--as did we. Here's why:
1) The high quality of classical music (violin and cello) provided by CCP set the stage for a romantic and intimate gathering inside our ceremony venue, a gorgeous barn, on an unexpectedly cold fall day. All 55 wedding guests commented on the beauty of our ceremony and music was an essential component.
2) This wedding was organized across several countries and US states in 3 months. As such, not everything went as planned. When the procession failed to materialize, CCP seamlessly transitioned from "waiting around music" to "bridal procession" and no one but CCP and mom (who had painstakingly arranged the music) knew the difference! They played all requested songs beautifully.
3) Our venue in the woods was so off-the-grid we had no cell service. We had just narrowly missed Category 4 Hurricane Joaquin, so the temperatures were less than ideal for string musicians. Not only did CCP agree to travel two hours to the venue, but they showed up well in advance of the ceremony and managed with a little space heater to produce great sound despite the cold.
4) Communications were prompt and courteous. Michelle's Korean mom was impressed--that alone speaks volumes, as Korean moms are notoriously very picky.
Finally, hiring CCP was incredibly affordable. If you read our other reviews, you'll find that we're very happy with our vendors. It took some research, but weddingwire.com helped us to achieve our goals of high quality, affordable, and personable services for one of the most important days of our lives. The Castle Chamber Players are an extremely professional and highly skilled classical music ensemble. I was so happy with the beautiful music they recently performed at my wedding. One of the musicians took time to meet with me and discuss the atmosphere that I wanted and together we selected the music for the ceremony. They also played for the cocktail hour at the reception.
