We recently hosted our rehearsal dinner at Casa Lola and, overall, had a good experience.

We coordinated the event through Mariceli and it was painless. She accommodated our request to have our private party in the Garden Room, which is quite lovely!The food was delicious and their red sangria is amazing. The servers were quite diligent and attentive throughout the event.

The only reason for the 4 stars in "Quality of Service" is because their air conditioning seemed to be faulty during our event and, at times, the room was quite warm and our guests were sweating. We talked to the manager about it and, unfortunately, he said they had tried to fix it on the spot, but it needed to be serviced. In an effort to make up for the inconvenience, they offered us some extra rounds of sangria for all our guests (on the house, of course). Aside from that "incident", I recommend the restaurant for a private event.

We planned this rehearsal dinner for our destination wedding. All communication and set up of contract was conducted via e-mail.
We had 34 guests and held our dinner in the Laguna room. Note-this venue is not handicap accessible (my father was in a wheelchair). The Casa Lola staff did not bat an eye, before they carried my father up to the Laguna room, on the 2nd floor.
We decided on a specific menu with 4 dinner options and open bar. All our guests had nothing but great things to say about the food. The Skirt Steak was better than the Mahi Mahi and the Creme Brûlée is better than the Flan!
I rated responsiveness a 3, as I would have preferred the servers to be more attentive when my guests were all seated. I had to ask a server to start taking drink orders, after 10 minutes of being seated. Also, for the initial drink orders, we only had 1 server-despite our contract for >30 people.
The food was great, and after the first 30 minutes, they did send additional servers to help with our group.
