I absolutely loved Casa Larga. My husband and I looked here before any other venue; after looking at fourteen other place in the Finger Lakes this one was more in our price range and the people are quite personable.
They assign an event coordinator to you to make everything run smoothly. Ours was Sarah Ann and she was excellent. We live four hours away from here and she was very responsive with emails and phone calls during the planning time. She also had a flexible schedule, which was great for us since we live so far away. She walked us through the rehearsal about exactly what is going to happen, and she set up our centerpieces and decorations - a definite plus! She had a smile on her face and is comfortable working with large groups of people, which is great since my family is very, very large. Basically she made the whole wedding experience fun, enjoyable, and carefree.
Another great thing is that Casa Larga has it's own caterer, who are also awesome. The owners of it are a couple, which is adorable, and they are an amazing team. They let us design some aspects of the menu and they have extra options for you to choose from that you won't see on the website. We had a cobbler station with three cobblers and three types of sauce - the caramel bourbon sauce on the apple cobbler was the most popular! We also had many vegetarians, a vegan, and a few others with specific allergies come to the wedding and they had no issue with creating a special dish for them or altering a dish that we already chose. And the food is flavourful and AMAZING.
The only thing that I didn't like is that the ladies were not allowed to get ready there. We had to do our nails, hair, and make up elsewhere, we simply put on our dresses there. It wasn't that big of a deal for us since I had a hotel room five minutes down the road.
Overall, we loved Casa Larga. Whenever we return to the Rochester area we will always visit and get a couple bottles of wine and have fond memories of our wedding.

I cannot say enough about this place. Tammy was our coordinator and was awesome throughout the whole process. Everything was perfect. Food was AMAZING. Everyone is still talking about how good it was. I am beyond amazed at their professionalism, promptness, friendliness, etc. I really cant say one negative thing. We were over the moon ecstatic at how perfect the venue was!

From the time we initiated our first call, to the final wrap of the night, we had a wonderful experience. Belinda was professional and friendly, taking time to give us a tour of the grounds, the multiple venue options, and set the expectations for the event.
The events manager, David, and Belinda worked together to ensure every detail was covered before the big day. David gave us a personal wine tasting for the event, and was patient and courteous. We felt as if we were the most important event they had.
David double checked all the details, and was flexible with some last minute changes we had, was genuine and cheerful while providing some gentle guidance with the last minute decisions.
The night was flawless- event absolutely gorgeous, food was delicious, and his staff was wonderful. They were efficient, proactive, and professional. We didn't have to think about anything. David had thought of every detail to make the wedding a night to remember for our daughter and son-in-law.
