Facilities & Capacity
Ventosa Vineyard's ballroom, La Vista e Bella, can accommodate up to 280 people for dining and dancing. The Mediterranean vibe can be seen in the classic Italian decor and the panoramic views of the vineyards and Seneca Lake. For outdoor space, couples also have access to the sprawling terrace on the property. Nearly weds who want to host their rehearsal dinner or bridal shower at Ventosa can also utilize the winery cafe, which can host up to 80 guests. In addition to the reception, couples are welcome to hold their ceremony at the venue.

Weather during weddings in the finger lakes can be unpredictable. We’ve seen it a million times: the forecast was clear, sunny skies and now thunderstorms are planned. No one needs that added stress to their day! If the weather takes a turn, we’ve got you covered! Our outdoor pavilion takes away the worry and stress of unfavorable weather. The pavilion includes an air-conditioned bridal suite where you can relax & touch-up your hair & makeup. Plenty of seating, mirrors, and a lighted vanity (with day-of necessities in the drawers) make this the perfect space to relax before saying, “I do”.
La Vista e Bella Ballroom - elegance with a stunning view!
With its elegant décor and stunning view, our La Vista é Bella room is perfect for your wedding reception. Exquisite hand painted Tuscan Inspired Murals are throughout the 6,000 square foot room. Grand floor to ceiling windows and wide glass doors allow for a stunning view from all angles of the ballroom. Large wrought iron chandeliers and wall sconces offer perfect lighting for an intimate gathering. Guests have access to our expansive terrace overlooking stunning views of estate vineyards and beautiful sunsets over Seneca Lake.

Your wedding will include event planning, rentals, AV equipment, and event furniture. Our team can provide a list of recommended vendors to ensure you have tried-and-true, talented professionals. Packages also include staffing to ensure high standards of hospitality are met. Continuing our Tuscan theme, the food at Ventosa Vineyards takes on a Mediterranean style. Our Cafe Toscana menu is ideal for wedding luncheons and bridal showers featuring paninis, salads, soups, and our well-known Tuscan pizza. Each dish is handmade for freshness and quality. Our staff can accommodate gluten-free or other dietary requirements. Couples can work with staff to bring in an outside cake.
With a large 700 square foot hardwood dance floor, your friends & family will be able to comfortably dance the night away. La Vista e Bella Ballroom offers full bar service with top shelf liquors, beer & premium Ventosa Vineyards wines served at the ornate, hand-carved mahogany bar. A day-of wedding planner is also included. You can turn over all of the details to us and we take care of the rest so you can enjoy your dream wedding!
Cuisine
Creating memories in a Tuscan inspired setting is only half of our mission here at Ventosa. We strive for excellence in wine, food and service. Our food is prepared fresh the day of the event in our massive kitchen designed to serve up to 300 guests. I have to say, Ventosa was so easy to deal with from our first visit right through our pickup of our cake and décor. Jackie Pollino was incredibly patient, responsive, accommodating and sweet. She had great recommendations and was thinking ahead for me when I was in a whirlwind the day of. I completely forgot to fill the wine vessel for our wine mixing ceremony, and I specifically told her I planned to do it myself. Then, I got busy and forgot to set any of it up. She caught that I missed it and took care of it immediately. My mistake could have ruined my ceremony but she saved the day. Every staff member made it their mission to set up my décor to my exact specifications, taking care with all the delicate pieces and everything was even packed back up so neatly and protected after, too.
The mansion next door - RENT IT! You will be so glad your bridal suite is steps away from your ceremony site. A bridal party's dream - many spacious bathrooms, plenty of natural light, easy parking and entry for your vendors. This impeccably maintained, historic and opulent home made for absolutely stunning photos, and our rehearsal dinner went beautifully here, too. The view of the vines and lake is like no other on Seneca. Staff helped us select the right tent to have brought in for the deck and were accommodating of an early delivery. The ability to get ready right on property made everything so easy for us and our guests. Having to travel would have eaten up precious time that morning.
Your bartenders did an amazing job of keeping the party flowing and lines short while being sure not to let things get out of control. That is not easy in a crowd of 130 or more.
All food was delicious, hot and cooked to perfection. We got a ton of compliments from guests about the quality, taste and presentation. Their food is simple and classic - they are brilliant at the basics, but elevated.
Staff made sure my husband and I had an abundance of appetizers and drinks available right at our sweetheart table so we could enjoy the night and socialize vs. waiting in line, or even worse, going hungry on our big day.
It was such a sweet touch for staff to pack up a few containers of my “late night bites” garbage plates for us to snack on later that night. My cake was also expertly wrapped and protected so I could get it home safely to freeze.
Serving wine made from their own vineyard, and their signature Tuscan decor, gave the place a unique and boutique feel - you won't feel like you're in a cookie cutter, rinse and repeat venue like some reception halls.
Staff even helped me fill out my marriage certificate which I nearly forgot to do.
We quite literally could not have asked for more from this venue and team. They thought of it all and made it happen, most of the time without even being asked. 10/10 experience. Booking a wedding can be high stress and is a significant investment. Looking back, we would choose Ventosa over and over again.

As a wedding planner, I have high expectations from venues. Ventosa does a superb job with weddings! Both RJ and Aileen were easy to reach with questions etc. which made planning so much easier, but where they truly shine is on the day of the event. Very organized and flexible. The food (all homemade) was delicious and served quickly. And the views - so gorgeous. I highly recommend Ventosa for weddings and other events - fantastic!
