Every detail of our wedding was truly perfect. We always knew Ventosa was beautiful but our initial walk through really sealed the deal when we heard all that you had to offer – the day-of coordination & setup, the in-house catering with delicious food, the accommodations of all allergies all had us excited to book.
I have to say, Ventosa was so easy to deal with from our first visit right through our pickup of our cake and décor. Jackie Pollino was incredibly patient, responsive, accommodating and sweet. She had great recommendations and was thinking ahead for me when I was in a whirlwind the day of. I completely forgot to fill the wine vessel for our wine mixing ceremony, and I specifically told her I planned to do it myself. Then, I got busy and forgot to set any of it up. She caught that I missed it and took care of it immediately. My mistake could have ruined my ceremony but she saved the day. Every staff member made it their mission to set up my décor to my exact specifications, taking care with all the delicate pieces and everything was even packed back up so neatly and protected after, too.
The mansion next door - RENT IT! You will be so glad your bridal suite is steps away from your ceremony site. A bridal party's dream - many spacious bathrooms, plenty of natural light, easy parking and entry for your vendors. This impeccably maintained, historic and opulent home made for absolutely stunning photos, and our rehearsal dinner went beautifully here, too. The view of the vines and lake is like no other on Seneca. Staff helped us select the right tent to have brought in for the deck and were accommodating of an early delivery. The ability to get ready right on property made everything so easy for us and our guests. Having to travel would have eaten up precious time that morning.
Your bartenders did an amazing job of keeping the party flowing and lines short while being sure not to let things get out of control. That is not easy in a crowd of 130 or more.
All food was delicious, hot and cooked to perfection. We got a ton of compliments from guests about the quality, taste and presentation. Their food is simple and classic - they are brilliant at the basics, but elevated.
Staff made sure my husband and I had an abundance of appetizers and drinks available right at our sweetheart table so we could enjoy the night and socialize vs. waiting in line, or even worse, going hungry on our big day.
It was such a sweet touch for staff to pack up a few containers of my “late night bites” garbage plates for us to snack on later that night. My cake was also expertly wrapped and protected so I could get it home safely to freeze.
Serving wine made from their own vineyard, and their signature Tuscan decor, gave the place a unique and boutique feel - you won't feel like you're in a cookie cutter, rinse and repeat venue like some reception halls.
Staff even helped me fill out my marriage certificate which I nearly forgot to do.
We quite literally could not have asked for more from this venue and team. They thought of it all and made it happen, most of the time without even being asked. 10/10 experience. Booking a wedding can be high stress and is a significant investment. Looking back, we would choose Ventosa over and over again.Ventosa Vineyards's reply:

Patrick Sent on 10/18/2011We knew we wanted to get married at a vineyard so we drove around the lakes looking for the right one. We came across Ventosa and instantly knew we needed to find out more. We met with RJ and he was as phenomenal as the rest of the reviews make him out to be. The food was also amazing with generous portions and even a couple of dinners made for special diets without any hassle. Even though it rained, we were able to have the our wedding on the terrace. The fog and mist that was hanging in the air gave it an almost magical feel and made for some beautiful surroundings despite the lack of sun. -

Leading up to our wedding day, RJ was super helpful and communicative throughout the planning process. Any time we asked if we could do something (take pictures with the donkey, sparkler exit, etc.) the answer was always yes! They are super flexible and happy to make your day just how you want it. On our wedding day, it poured right before our outdoor ceremony was supposed to take place and RJ and the other staff made sure everyone in the wedding party was dry and comfortable until it passed. They then dried off every single chair and reset all of our decor that took a tumble from the rain/wind. Overall the service, food, and planning process were all spectacular. All of our guests raved about how wonderful everything was throughout the day. There is nowhere else I would have wanted to get married besides Ventosa!Ventosa Vineyards's reply:

Amazing experience!
Ventosa made all our wedding dreams come true! It was breathtaking, all the staff was so accommodating, and the whole day ran smoothly! RJ and Kelcie are a wonderful team. Such an incredible venue in all aspects!
We can’t say enough positive things about Ventosa. They are such a high quality venue for such reasonable prices. The staff is incredible, the views are breathtaking, and the food is delicious. The vibe of their ballroom inside is so warm and the space fit our family very well (you could have as little as 80 people and as much as a few hundred and still be comfortable in that room). The terrace is so nice for people wanting to enjoy a nice evening or take a break from dancing. The dance floor is huge, which was perfect for our family!
RJ and Kelcie were both so professional, attentive, and easy to contact throughout the whole wedding process, especially throughout postponing for two years (we had to postpone from Oct 2020 to 2022 because of the pandemic). During the actual ceremony and reception, every worker we interacted with was so nice and on top of everything. They basically thought of everything before we even had to ask. They are flexible budget wise and they helped us put together and set up all of our decorations the day of (and helped us to store things until we could pick them up the morning after). They can also basically accommodate almost any request (signature drinks, decor, etc.) and would offer suggestions, recommendations, etc. when we asked for help. We would recommend Ventosa to anyone getting married!

My husband and I were married at Ventosa Vineyards in September 2019, and cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was! RJ and his team were flawless in their coordination every step of the way making the process that much easier, as my husband and I were planning the wedding remotely. Ventosa provides a list of recommended (i.e. vetted) wedding vendors on their homepage, so my husband and I selected several for our wedding...they were all awesome, it's clear that Ventosa only works with A+ service providers! As busy as RJ was, he was always very responsive for any request, needs, or questions we had.
The grounds at Ventosa are beautiful, and pictures do not do it justice. The views of the lake are stunning, and the Tuscan theme to the architecture makes you feel as if you really are in Italy. On the big day itself, Chris and Phyllis were our primary coordinators and did a phenomenal job assuring that everything went smoothly. I was actually a bit surprised at just how smooth everything went, there was an event in the main ballroom the evening before that looked quite packed, but the following day everything was picture perfect for our ceremony and reception in the ballroom! Our wedding ceremony went off without a hitch, and the weather could not have been better for the time of year. For our wedding reception, the ballroom was immaculate and the food was exceptional. We had a pre-wedding tasting to sample the food options several months beforehand, these were more like full dinner meals and not your average tasting of small pieces of choice...they do not mess around with their food/drink, it was all amazing! Many of our guests told us our wedding was the best and most beautiful they had ever been to, and were all really impressed with Ventosa as a whole.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience from RJ and the Ventosa team. They were extremely communicative and responsive throughout the process, and were flexible with changes as they came up. The food was excellent, and was exactly how it was when we sampled it. My wife and I always wanted a beautiful outdoor ceremony with a reception space that was spacious and comfortable, and Ventosa offered everything. Absolute best venue in the finger lakes

Our wedding was at Ventosa a few weeks ago. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and that's all thanks to RJ and his amazing staff. After we decided to postpone because of COVID, RJ was extremely understanding, empathetic, and as a business they never asked us for more money. The venue itself is breathtaking and the quality of food, service, and hospitality were out of this world. I cannot begin to describe how accommodating they were to our needs and wants. RJ was always so communicative with us, and really treated us like family. My husband and I will be celebrating every anniversary at Ventosa Vineyards! RJ was wonderful to work with. He answered all of our questions quickly and professionally. When we had new ideas about different aspects of the decorations or the way the reception would go he was always open to them and made it happen. The food was excellent! All of our guests raved about it. Ventosa is just gorgeous. The terrace was wonderful to watch the sunset over the water and some of our guests even wander around the vineyard during cocktail hour. -

Wow, just WOW!
First I would like to start off by saying this venue is BEAUTIFUL, like something out of a fairytale; however, that was only part of the reason why this has to be one of the best wedding venues!
My favorite thing about this place was the people! RJ and Kelcie are probably some of the best peeps around! They were SO responsive, listened to what we wanted and delivered and made sure that the day went so perfectly! Even the staff (bartenders, waiters, etc.) were so pleasant and helpful. Also, the food was INCREDIBLE!!!
I can’t say enough how special our day was here. If you are looking for a venue with everything you need, to include less stress because of the help provided - look no further!

Our wedding at ventosa was perfect! RJ made the planning process so easy and seamless. From the time we toured the venue to the day of the wedding we knew we were in the right hands and made the right decision about our venue.
Both the ceremony location and ballroom are beautiful. The food was excellent and the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding.
We got married in September and we still have friends and family talking about the venue and food.

Simply Amazing!
The venue itself is beautiful, set on an amazing vineyard backdrop. From the initial visit to all follow up meetings RJ and the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful throughout the entire experience leading up to the big day. On the day itself that excellent service and communication continued till the very end and beyond. They made one of the best days of our lives stress free and we were able to focus on enjoying our day together. Picture perfect wedding
Our wedding day at Ventosa was so amazing. All the employees there were great to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had. The food was INCREDIBLE! We got married on the front lawn and it was picture perfect overlooking the lake on a beautiful sunny August day. Living out of town and planning a wedding in the throes of pandemic shutdowns, we chose Ventosa as our ceremony and reception venue sight unseen; this turned out to be one of the best decisions we made.
RJ did a great job adapting to virtual wedding planning, as he outlined all of our options and Ventosa procedures over the phone, even giving us a FaceTime tour of the banquet hall. I think what really made our decision so easy, besides their great reviews, was the beautiful outdoor ceremony space looking over the vineyard and lake, and the banquet hall that required very little additional decorating to be wedding-ready. For the year and a half approaching the wedding, RJ was always available to answer questions and make changes.
A few months before the wedding, we were in town and visited Ventosa to do some food tasting. It was at this point we knew that the food was going to be an absolute hit. We went with the poached salmon, NY strip steak, and chicken bianco - all of which we highly recommend. We also met the chef that day, who assured us that he's able to easily accommodate for just about any dietary restriction you can think of.
Fast forward to the big weekend, and we didn't have to lift a finger. We did our rehearsal the afternoon before the wedding, which is when we met Kathy, the ceremony coordinator. She walked us through all of our options and made sure everything was figured out so there were no questions left unanswered come the next day. We even had a questionable weather forecast, something Kathy was keeping her eye on should we need to make any last minute changes.
The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. When we showed up for first look, Kathy greeted us, ushered us to where we needed to be, and left us to our photographers. When parents showed up, she was there with a golf cart to get them where they needed to be. After pictures were done, we had a little downtime before the ceremony, and Kathy ensured that we were comfortable, hydrated, and hidden from some early-arriving guests! The clouds cleared up, the sun came out, and the ceremony went as beautifully as it was planned.
During the reception, the Ventosa staff somehow found a way to work diligently while also barely being noticed. The bartenders worked fast, the wait-staff worked efficiently, and everyone did it with a smile on their face. As we anticipated, we still have guests telling us to this day that Ventosa served the best food they've ever had at a wedding.
When the night came to an end, the staff worked quickly to get cleaned up, even though we never felt pressured to get out the door. The next day we stopped to pick up some decorations and leftover cake, which was handled with great care.
Ventosa provided us and countless guests with a night we will never forget - something I can't thank Ventosa, RJ, Kathy, the Chef, and the rest of the staff enough for. We will always stop buy for a glass of wine and some lunch whenever we're in the area.
Some tips for people considering Ventosa for their wedding:
-Sneak away from your reception and see if the staff will let you and your photographer down in the wine cellar for some fantastic photos.
-If you want to offer a steak, give the NY Strip some serious consideration before blindly going with the filet. The strip is to die for.
-Try to get some sunset photos in the vineyard and by the lake

Ventosa Vineyards was absolutely amazing for our wedding! We knew it was our venue as soon as we walked in while touring venues in the area, Ventosa has a wow factor from it's great Tuscan style venue to the beautiful grounds. RJ made planning our wedding from out of town as easy as possible and was always available to answer questions no matter how small. Our tasting was wonderfully guided by RJ and the Chef, everything was delicious! On the day of, Kelcie and RJ were absolute life-savers with setting up all of our decor, coordinating with our vendors and just making sure everything moved smoothly throughout the night. Any little issues were quickly resolved like the owner of Ventosa running out to buy more bourbon when our guests drank it all. Absolutely wonderful service, a beautiful venue, amazing food with huge portions, and a great staff that helps out with everything!Ventosa Vineyards's reply:

Excellent!
What an amazing experience at such a beautiful venue! Our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of. From the beautiful view overlooking Seneca Lake to the delicious food prepared by Chef Carl, everything was perfect! Shout out to R.J., Kelcie, and their amazing team for providing such a fantastic experience! It can be stressful to plan a wedding, but R.J. and Kelcie were with us every step of the way. A vendor that will stand by you through thick and thin
A simple review will never feel like it will be enough.
My husband and I have reflected on these past few years since being engaged back in 2018 (crazy), but I have to say the best decision we made was to book our venue with Ventosa a few years back. We also booked through only a virtual tour via zoom call, isnt that crazy?! Even through unprecedented times, as a venue, Ventosa and RJ stood by our side in times of uncertainty, especially since my husband and I moved overseas while planning our special day and having to postpone our original wedding date in 2020 due to covid. We truly feel blessed for this. It was a layer of stress that Ventosa did whatever they could to help alleviate, right up until the end of our wedding. We truly cannot thank Ventosa enough, nor will thank you ever feel like enough. As to the staff working the night of our wedding...they were GREAT! Everyone was cheerful and happy to assist, it didnt seem like staff performing a job, but rather than people there to support you on your wedding day to make it the best yet, which honestly was truly amazing. For the venue, RJ, and the entire staff, I would like to extend my gratitude and truest thank you's. You're communication and professionalism as a venue is truly one to applaud.
Again, my husband and I are truly grateful for this venue and cannot wait to recommend this venue to others as well as visit Ventosa whenever were home in states! This place will always have our hearts 🤍Ventosa Vineyards's reply:

Amazing Venue, Staff, Food and Views
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! From day 1, R.J. was extremely responsive and to have this through rescheduling during Covid meant the world and made it so easy. Leading up to the wedding and the day of, R.J., Kathy and staff did an amazing job making sure everything was in place and taking care of everyone. Ventosa is one of our favorite vineyards so we knew right away we had to get married there! RJ and Kathy and the whole Ventosa team were top notch…we had to reschedule due to COVID and there were no questions asked. The food was phenomenal. The views breathtaking. Planning a wedding out of town is very stressful (especially where you’re not from that area) but they helped in any way they could to relieve some of that stress. The vendor recommendations we received from them were also amazing. I wish we could go back and redo it all over again - I wouldn’t have changed one thing! They kept the time line of the day running so smooth and even waited until the very last minute possible to switch the ceremony to inside due to rain moving over the lake because they knew I had my heart set on an outside ceremony - and even in the last minute - that turned out perfect as well.

Perfect wedding
We absolutely loved our experience with Ventosa for our wedding. From the picture perfect views to the beautiful ballroom to the amazing food and helpful staff, this place can’t be beat. Our wedding at Ventosa was perfect! RJ was amazing from the start of the planning and all the way through! He made sure every detail of the day was covered and he was very easy to work with. Every time I had a question RJ or Deb would get back to me right away with the answer. The entire staff was so helpful and accommodating the day of and at the meal tasting (which also blew us away!). The venue is beautiful, we loved the new covered pavilion. The air conditioned bridal suite inside the pavilion was perfect for me to hide out in as guests arrived. I was able to freshen up and relax before the ceremony. I am so glad we chose Ventosa for our Wedding day!Ventosa Vineyards's reply:

Where do I even begin? Ventosa was amazing! RJ helped us every step of the way. We didn't even need a wedding planner. He took care of it all. They were so understanding with COVID & let us push back a full year (we are from out of state). They did everything they could to make our day perfect. The grounds are beautiful. Picture perfect. The food was amazing as well. Everyone is still raving about the sirloin. Absolutely incredible! -

We 100% recommend you have your wedding at Ventosa vineyards because we absolutely loved ours. We were incredibly lucky to get a great date in the middle of June and the memories made here will last a lifetime. - Easy Planning: Jackie the coordinator was communicative without adding stress and had a clear plan, while also being flexible and open to our ideas. It was also a huge help that this venue coordinates all the food, beverage, linens, and chairs - all we had to do was answer a few questions. - WOW factor: from the moment we first drove up to the venue, we were hooked. From the gorgeous ceremony pavilion and terrace that overlooks the vineyard and Seneca Lake to the rustic elegance of the ballroom, we knew that Ventosa would amplify the magic of our wedding day for both us and our guests. Ultimately, we reflect that we were impressed with the value we got within the pricing range. Bonus: the payment plan was clear and the pricing model was straightforward. - Day of: Everything went so seamlessly! Everything was set up the way we imagined, staff told us where to be so that we didn't have to worry about it and we just got to enjoy our day. The covered ceremony space sheltered our guests and gave us peace of mind in the case that there would be rain on the day of our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests made a point to tell us. We knew after our tasting that the meals would impress but all of the hors doeuvres were just as delicious. We highly recommend the pork belly. Our guests also made a point to tell us how friendly the servers were which added to the good time. There are a lot of very nice venues around Geneva but Ventosa really stands out. Vendors, as well as locals around town during our wedding weekend also agreed with that take. Not to mention how much fun it was to have our wedding near Geneva- we spent all weekend around the town, running into our friends and visiting the beautiful state park, cool bars, and restaurants that make you want to come back.Ventosa Vineyards's reply:

My husband and I got married at Ventosa in September of 2018. Our engagements was 14 months long and there was not 1 day of disappointment when dealing with the staff here. We planned our wedding from Florida so I was constantly e mailing RJ... he not only responded fast but met and exceeded all of my expectations and was so helpful! I received so many messages about how beautiful everything was the day of our wedding and how great the staff was. I have no complaints and would 100% recommend Ventosa for any event you may be planning.
If you are in town for a short time visit their wine tasting and cafe, best pizza ever! -

Top notch winery venue
Ventosa Vineyards is an outstanding venue if you are searching for a personalized, beautiful venue with staff that will go above and beyond to meet your desires. We were not an easy group to deal with and RJ and his staff made us feel at home and took care of every one of our requests and needs. The day went flawless and the staff was there to coordinate the day so we did not have to worry about anything. The overall cost was comparable and in most cases more affordable than other similar venues in the Finger Lakes area. The grounds are beautiful and there are plenty of hotels and homes to rent within 10-15 minutes of Ventosa. The food was the best we have ever had at any wedding or elite event that we have attended. Our guests raved about the food choices and the portions. Phenomenal venue to have a wedding if you are considering a vineyard for your special day.Ventosa Vineyards's reply:

Everything about our wedding was amazing and our family and guests have frequently told us that it was the best wedding they’ve been to. The view is amazing, food was delicious and RJ and his staff were helpful throughout the whole process. Worth every penny we spent! -
