We booked our wedding in three weeks due to a number of factors and thankfully Carrie was available to shoot it for us. It was a simple ceremony with no reception, so 4 hours in total is what we booked. Our pictures are so beautiful, they made us cry when we went through them. She’s an absolute professional at what she does and so beautifully creative. I’m still in awe at how she made that day look more beautiful than even it was & perfectly captured how much my husband and I love each other. We had our preview back in 3 days and as promised our full set back exactly a month from our wedding date. She’s worth every cent, couldn’t recommend her more. Thank you so much Carrie ❤️

Carrie was the photographer at our wedding. She was amazing to work with and provided thoughtful little touches throughout the process, starting with chocolates mailed to our door upon agreeing to work with her. She is extremely capable, professional and creative. Her organization, like asking us to mail our save the dates, invitations, and programs beforehand so she could make sure to photograph them day of and her photography questionnaire, made everything go so smoothly on our big day. She immediately set us and our families at ease and has a knack for capturing all the little moments of the day. We absolutely love all of our wedding day photos, from the classic family photos to the creative and stylized dance floor ones. Carrie's ability to retell the story of our wedding day makes looking back at our photos an absolute joy and an experience that brings back all the feels. We were blessed with an exceptional photographer! Carrie is a true journalist and artist. She captured so many moments - big and small - that we will treasure forever. Having Carrie as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made when it came to wedding planning. She was super personable from the very beginning of our wedding planning process. As soon as I chose her, she sent me kind words reminding me to enjoy my time planning as it can be very stressful. She asked well-thought out questions to prepare adequately for the big day and gave honest feedback and answers to the questions I had. The day-of, no one put my new husband and I more at ease than Carrie. We dealt with a very rowdy bridal party and Carrie along with her second shooter, Nick, took everything in stride and weren't afraid to rein in our rowdy groomsmen--professionally of course. Carrie captured all of the photographs that we requested with only one exception that was beyond her control because my brother was no where to be found during post-ceremony pictures but Carrie made sure that she was able to include him in photos later in the evening. She also made sure to steal us between dinner and the party to get some personal shots of just my husband and me--she let us share a few intimate moments together and was able to step back and capture it all- which is something I'll treasure forever. I was a very anxious bride and she checked in with me several times throughout the night just to make sure I was okay. When the photographs came back, I was amazed, I knew they would be great based on her portfolio and creativity, but they were even better than I expected. She manipulates lighting extremely well and used it to her advantage in all of our photographs, even during a time of day that I would have expected the lighting to be very difficult to work with. Looking through all of the pictures feels like reliving the day all over again. She captured the spirit of our day beautifully and completely. She didn’t miss a single memory—I don’t think she took a single break all night. She is a top-notch photographer, and on top of that, she is a kind and thoughtful person--the kind of vendor every stressed out bride needs on her side on her wedding day!

Carrie came to me in a unique way. She was able to step in at the last minute for her friend, the photographer I had hired, who's mother was admitted to hospice days before the wedding. It was a confluence of sad inevitability and happy accident. I had specifically chosen the photographer based on his more relaxed, non-stage-y style and Carrie was his first choice to fill in for him because she shares his aesthetic. This happened to be the only weekend of the summer she wasn't already booked. It was meant to be. Carrie's photos are gorgeous. We are so happy with them and will cherish them forever, but I also want to share my appreciation of her as a person. Weddings are very busy with lots of people around and you find yourself pinging from person to person like a human pinball. Because Carrie was there to capture it all, she was also there as a sounding board when I needed one and she really helped keep me grounded through all the hubbub. I will forever be grateful that she stopped us at one point and told us we needed to get out there and enjoy our reception! We were so busy pinging, we hadn't even stopped to enjoy our own party! She helped us put together our day-of timeline, suggested locations for our rehearsal dinner and first look photos, and adapted the package to fit our schedule (this was a destination wedding for us). Carrie was such a joy to work with, and our photos are absolutely beautiful! She was professional, organized, and extremely patient (especially when it came to getting my large family together for group photos!). One of my most treasured memories of our day was directly after the ceremony when my husband and I took a few moments to do portraits with Carrie. This was the only time the whole day we had to ourselves, and Carrie encouraged us to breath and enjoy each other's company. I am so grateful for this time we had together. To be honest, after the portraits I don't remember seeing Carrie once! She magically stayed in the middle of all of the action without being a distraction. Our whole wedding day was a big, happy blur so it was so nice to be able to relive the day through Carrie's photos. She captured so many beautiful details and moments.
