Carolyn did my flowers for my wedding in Ogunquit, Maine this June. I had her design a bouquet, a flower crown for my sister, and boutonnieres. I also got 100 stems of white poppies and anemones that we popped into mini bud vases with name cards to add simple decoration to our tables. The bouquet was seriously beautiful and was composed of only flowers grown by Carolyn on her farm. The flowers complimented everything so perfectly.

My husband and I used Carolyn Snell Designs for our wedding flowers and we are so glad we did. We ordered bulk buckets of flowers so we could save some money and design our own centerpieces and we were so incredibly happy with the quantity and quality of flowers we got. We had Carolyn design all the more important pieces like boutonnieres, bouquets, corsages, and altar framing pieces and they were stunning. She even made sure to save some lilacs for me! Carolyn did an AMAZING job with the flowers for our wedding -- honestly, people are still talking about them a month later! Carolyn was professional and easy to work with throughout the process (and I made lots of changes about what I wanted with flowers throughout the process, which she just rolled with!). We hired Carolyn more than a year before our wedding, so we were able to tell her what kind of flowers and what colors we wanted, and she was able to plant and grow things based on that, which is so cool. And anything she wasn't growing, she was able to source from other local farms, so we loved that all our flowers were local. Carolyn does a great job of incorporating greens and herbs into her arrangements (my bouquet had hops!), so they are really unique, wild, and just perfect! I trusted that Carolyn was going to do a great job (she doesn't do mock-ups because all the flowers are local and she uses what's in bloom at the time...so you have to put your trust in her a bit), but when I saw everything set up the day of, I was completely blown away! The bouquets, the table arrangements, the garland for our arbor, the flower crown, everything was perfect. The flowers were the unsung hero of our wedding and I'm still in awe of how pretty, vibrant, and fresh they were! I highly recommend Carolyn and when you meet with her on the farm, make sure to get some fresh veggies too, they are so yummy!

We got married August 6th of this year and were so happy we picked Carolyn Snell to do our wedding flowers! The came out absolutely beautiful and wouldn't of had them any other way. We got bouquets done for all of the dinner tables (26), bridal bouquets (7), boutonnieres (10), wrist corsage (3), cocktail tables (8) and two swags for our arbor. I wanted bright colors with touches of specific flowers I liked and Carolyn knew just what to do. I totally trusted her and she absolutely crushed it with her flower game. Carolyn is warm, animated, and genuinely loves her job. She is creative, personable, and easy to work with. She was incredibly helpful in terms of making suggestions for how to make the most of our limited flower budget, and was so flexible with her options. I was completely awe-struck by my bridal bouquet - it was unique, whimsical, and best of all, seasonal and sourced from the family farm… and it smelled amazing! Not only that, but she thoughtfully incorporated a family heirloom that my mother had sent her to make it even more special and personal. My husband is a brewer, so she creatively chose grains, herbs, and textures for the boutonnieres that my husband loved. Overall, I was so impressed by the quality and beauty of her creations and would highly recommend this small family farm to anyone hosting an event in the Portland, ME area.

Carolyn was recommended to us through a mutual friend, and not only is she an incredibly talented floral designer, she's also just a rad human being and SO easy to work with. She totally captured the colors, style, and feel of our midcentury/vintage inspired wedding, and went out of her way to find the perfect gold ribbon for the bouquets. Carolyn has an extensive collection of unique vessels for arrangements, and makes a point of using unusual plants and flowers in super-creative combinations, such as herbs and succulents. She also strives to source her flowers locally or from her own farm when in season - which we loved. I would highly recommend Carolyn for incredibly beautiful and unique florals - she is truly an artist!
