Carolyn did my flowers for my wedding in Ogunquit, Maine this June. I had her design a bouquet, a flower crown for my sister, and boutonnieres. I also got 100 stems of white poppies and anemones that we popped into mini bud vases with name cards to add simple decoration to our tables. The bouquet was seriously beautiful and was composed of only flowers grown by Carolyn on her farm. The flowers complimented everything so perfectly.

My husband and I used Carolyn Snell Designs for our wedding flowers and we are so glad we did. We ordered bulk buckets of flowers so we could save some money and design our own centerpieces and we were so incredibly happy with the quantity and quality of flowers we got. We had Carolyn design all the more important pieces like boutonnieres, bouquets, corsages, and altar framing pieces and they were stunning. She even made sure to save some lilacs for me! I loved the mix of flowers she put in and the colors added so much to our venue. Thanks Carolyn and team!

Carolyn and all the staff at Snell Family Farm are so amazing to work with and provide the most beautiful flowers! Carolyn is so easy going and loves getting all the details for your event to make sure she makes your flowers fit perfectly! She makes the whole process so easy with her experience and professionalism. We wanted to make our own bouquets and she picked out the best stems for us choosing the colors and styles we wanted.And the centerpieces she created for were simply stunning! Carolyn did an AMAZING job with the flowers for our wedding -- honestly, people are still talking about them a month later! Carolyn was professional and easy to work with throughout the process (and I made lots of changes about what I wanted with flowers throughout the process, which she just rolled with!). We hired Carolyn more than a year before our wedding, so we were able to tell her what kind of flowers and what colors we wanted, and she was able to plant and grow things based on that, which is so cool. And anything she wasn't growing, she was able to source from other local farms, so we loved that all our flowers were local. Carolyn does a great job of incorporating greens and herbs into her arrangements (my bouquet had hops!), so they are really unique, wild, and just perfect! I trusted that Carolyn was going to do a great job (she doesn't do mock-ups because all the flowers are local and she uses what's in bloom at the time...so you have to put your trust in her a bit), but when I saw everything set up the day of, I was completely blown away! The bouquets, the table arrangements, the garland for our arbor, the flower crown, everything was perfect. The flowers were the unsung hero of our wedding and I'm still in awe of how pretty, vibrant, and fresh they were! I highly recommend Carolyn and when you meet with her on the farm, make sure to get some fresh veggies too, they are so yummy!

We got married August 6th of this year and were so happy we picked Carolyn Snell to do our wedding flowers! The came out absolutely beautiful and wouldn't of had them any other way. We got bouquets done for all of the dinner tables (26), bridal bouquets (7), boutonnieres (10), wrist corsage (3), cocktail tables (8) and two swags for our arbor. I wanted bright colors with touches of specific flowers I liked and Carolyn knew just what to do. I totally trusted her and she absolutely crushed it with her flower game. I highly recommend her and Snell Family Farm. We were happy to use a local business not to far from our house. Her flowers are top of the line and very affordable. Thank you Carolyn, you are the best!

If you have not checked out carolyn.snell on Instagram, that should be your first stop. Her flowers and floral design are unparalleled and absolutely stunning. Carolyn is warm, animated, and genuinely loves her job. She is creative, personable, and easy to work with. She was incredibly helpful in terms of making suggestions for how to make the most of our limited flower budget, and was so flexible with her options. I was completely awe-struck by my bridal bouquet - it was unique, whimsical, and best of all, seasonal and sourced from the family farm… and it smelled amazing! Not only that, but she thoughtfully incorporated a family heirloom that my mother had sent her to make it even more special and personal. My husband is a brewer, so she creatively chose grains, herbs, and textures for the boutonnieres that my husband loved. Overall, I was so impressed by the quality and beauty of her creations and would highly recommend this small family farm to anyone hosting an event in the Portland, ME area.

Carolyn was recommended to us through a mutual friend, and not only is she an incredibly talented floral designer, she's also just a rad human being and SO easy to work with. She totally captured the colors, style, and feel of our midcentury/vintage inspired wedding, and went out of her way to find the perfect gold ribbon for the bouquets. Carolyn has an extensive collection of unique vessels for arrangements, and makes a point of using unusual plants and flowers in super-creative combinations, such as herbs and succulents. She also strives to source her flowers locally or from her own farm when in season - which we loved. I would highly recommend Carolyn for incredibly beautiful and unique florals - she is truly an artist!

Carolyn Snell is an artist! She is flexible, realistic and responsive, and took my vague idea of colors and flower choices and made beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres. She delivered them on time, and even provided us with some last minute loose flowers for my hair the day of the wedding.

LOVE and highly highly recommend!

Carolyn is so easy to communicate with. Even though I was uncertain about everything I wanted, she asked me lots of questions and totally nailed the vision I had. She grows all of her own flowers (but will source domestically if you have your heart set on something less practical, as I did). She puts her heart and soul into her business and it really shows; this is her passion. She was sweet to work with, accommodating and understanding, and she delivered stunning products.

My bouquet was actually my favorite part of my wedding. I couldn't stop holding it the next day and now have it dried beside my bed to cherish forever.

Any bride would be lucky to have this talented lady make her flowers!

When I started the process of picking flowers for our wedding, I had only a small inkling of what I wanted: sunflowers, white/yellow/green, and natural looking. We also needed to arrange the centerpieces ourselves with zero experience doing so. Carolyn took my limited knowledge and vague suggestions and created the most perfect bouquets and assorted flowers. My bridesmaids and I had fun arranging the cut flowers into the centerpieces which came out more beautiful than I could have imagined. We loved the variety of flowers, and the different textures, sizes and shapes. Everything was just perfect. Carolyn was so helpful with estimating how many flowers we would need based on descriptions of the glass bottles we had and where we wanted the flowers to be. In addition, 99% of the flowers were local from Maine!! I would recommend Carolyn to everyone. I wish I could upload a photo here to show you how beautiful everything was!

I used Carolyn for both my wedding ceremony and reception, which were held on different days. For my ceremony, she made a beautiful bouquet for me and a boutonniere for my husband - both were exquisite! At my reception, she provided all of the centerpieces as well as a few special arrangements to have around the party and flowers for the cake. Carolyn is so creative in her designs and uses unconventional and unexpected touches like fruits and vegetables. Her prices were very reasonable and she delivered exactly when she said she would. I can't say enough good things about my experience with her!

Carolyn is amazing. I wasn't too instructive. I just gave her the basic idea of what I was looking for and left the rest up to her and the result was incredible. I had the most beautiful flowers that I have ever seen at wedding. The colors just popped perfectly and brought so much romance to the evening. We hired Carolyn to handle all floral aspects of our wedding. It was very important to us to work with someone who could produce great work utilizing locally grown flowers and she exceeded our expectations! Carolyn listened to our vision and incorporated vases from my DIY project to make centerpieces that really popped in our space.

Her work was very versatile as we wanted bright and fun colors for the reception, but for the ceremony, we requested a soft, romantic, yet simple feel. She accomplished everything perfectly and the value received was really above and beyond!

Carolyn made my bouquet, my husband's boutonnière, and our arbor center piece. She also provided loose flowers for us to construct our centerpieces, bridesmaids' bouquets, and other flowers.
When we starte looking for flower vendors, it Was important to us to find someone who grew flowers locally, had a professional product, but would work within our budget. Caroly and Snell Family Farm met and exceeded Our criteria.
Carolyn was so amazing and flexible. She helped me determine the best way to get what is wanted for our small budget and still have everything be gorgeous. Any time I wanted to change our order, she was happy to oblige.
The pieces that Carolyn constructed were perfect - professional but not stuffy. The bulk flowers she provided us were fresh and of the highest quality.
I recommend Carolyn without reservation!

When planning our wedding it was important to us that our decor be not only beautiful but also local and as environmentally sustainable as possible. Carolyn did an amazing job fulfilling these criteria! The flowers, plants and greenery that she provided us were absolutely gorgeous, beyond what I could have imagined. Best of all, at my request she utilized many plants and succulents in the displays which we could take home from the wedding and give as gifts to family and friends. Rather than cut flowers that will die quickly and be thrown away, these plants and herbs will continue to grow and serve as a hopefully long lasting reminder of our wedding day for us and for our loved ones! I can't thank you enough for your beautiful work!!!

Carolyn was great to work with and the flowers for our August wedding were absolutely beautiful! She offers different levels of service depending on how much you want to spend/how much time you're willing to dedicate to making your own floral arrangements. We ordered a bunch of buckets from her and had a blast using her gorgeous flowers to make our own centerpieces and bouquets.
