I am a little late (only about 8.5 yrs lol) in writing this review, but I am finally doing it! Carmen photographed our wedding in April 2008. She was amazing, she complied with all of my requests, took a million pictures (which in retrospect we probably didn't need to as many but I thought I did at the time). She was wonderful to work with , professional, and so responsive! I love Carmen and would recommend her without reservation!

It was a pleasure having Carmen photograph my Bridal Shower. She is very considerate, patient, and has great suggestions for poses. Everyone at the shower liked how her pictures came out. She was a sweetheart to work with!

We were recommended to Carmen and are so glad to have found someone as talented and amazing to work with as her! There are so many great shots from our wedding that we can't choose which ones we like best! Carmen also did our engagement pictures which were beyond gorgeous as well! Thank you, Carmen!!

Carmen was recommended through an old friend and the best recommendation ever. We felt comfortable with her at our meeting. I have seen her work and how she tell the story in her pictures. We met again a few months before for an engagement/family shoot and all the kids felt comfortable with her. Those pictures were beautiful. Carmen gave us the laid back feeling we wanted in a professional way. The quality of her work is excellent. She and her assistant are so friendly. She even called me the night before to see if I was ok and reassured to see us the next morning. Love her.

She was the first vendor we booked and she was truly amazing--she not only focused on the photographs but also took the time to recommend other vendors (Kalijo Works for our invitations and Jeany Star salon for my hair). Carmen is a true artist and the utmost professional whom we recommend without any hesitation.

We had two planning meetings with Carmen before the wedding during which she walked us through the entire plan for the big day. She helped us focus on what was important to us and helped us determine exactly what we wanted her to capture on our special day.

When it comes to choosing wedding vendors, you want the best for your special day; especially when it comes to finding someone to capture your day exactly as you remembered it. Carmen Rubio is definitely an amazing photographer with great talent. Her artistic style and extremely sweet personality made it fun shooting together, and the end result was a fantastic day with thousands of memories created by Carmen Rubio. She and her assistant were there to make sure we had some great shots, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone to have depicted our day as beautifully as she had. She also did an engagement shoot for us at the beach, and the photographs were fantastic. Carmen is truly a warm and personable person, and we knew after the engagement shoot that we had made the right decision in choosing her to do our wedding. She was AMAZING in every respect!! She also created a beautiful sepia tone photograph from our wedding pictures, which she created our thank you cards with. We got so many compliments about her photographs and her work, and even afterwards, about how beautiful the thank you cards were. If you have any doubt in your mind about your wedding plans, you can ease your worries if you choose to go with Carmen Rubio for your photography. Truly an amazing choice and I would recommend her to anyone.
