We decided last minute to change our wedding plans to include just us and my now husband's mother. I spoke with Susan and immediately knew she was the right person for us. Her warmth and willingness to help in this last minute planning was appreciated. She took the time to get to know our story which was reflected in our intimate ceremony!

Susan worked with us several times ahead of the ceremony to learn about us and really cater the wedding to what we were looking for (secular with some Jewish tradition). She delivered! We had a lovely, intimate ketubah signing before the ceremony and an excellent ceremony that was very "us." We got many compliments afterwards from guests that assumed she had known us for years!

My husband and I recently got married at the Boston Public Library, and we could not be happier with our experience with Susan as our Justice of the Peace. She worked with us every step of the way to get to know us and make sure that our ceremony was exactly what we wanted it to be. It was heartfelt, intimate, and everything that we were hoping for. Susan stepped in last minute to officiate our wedding when our Rabbi was not able to make it. Abby has known her for many years as the cantor of her childhood temple so she was thrilled and had no doubt Susan would make the ceremony incredibly special. In a matter of a days, she met with us, asked great questions, communicated really well and honestly blew us and our wedding guests away with an incredible ceremony. It was a really nice balance of a traditional Jewish ceremony and our voices, and the order of the ceremony gave us space to share our thoughts before she provided a really nice narrative about us that she gleaned from our meetings prior to the wedding. She also did an amazing job with our ketubah signing before the ceremony, all of the family members there cried! We could not be happier with how it went and highly recommend Susan! She is kind, cheerful, caring and thoughtful. You will be lucky to have her officiate your wedding!

Susan was terrific to work with from the start. We had a tiny, unconventional ceremony drawing from several traditions, and she enthusiastically helped craft a ceremony that reflected both of our backgrounds. She was also great at identifying links between our interests and traditions to help us create something that was uniquely us. She took the time to get to know us and things that are important to us, and incorporated them into a beautiful reading. She was professional all the way, too, helping us navigate the process of getting our marriage paperwork completed smoothly. Highly recommend, 10/10!

Susan was truly wonderful performing our marriage ceremony. She included in it our vows preferences, the history of our relationship and growth of our feelings toward each other . Her backyard was a beautiful backdrop to the ceremony, and even her small sweet dog welcomed us heart fully. We highly recommend her services done with consideration, inclusion and tolerance!
