We had a wonderful experience at Canlis! Our wedding was everything we had hoped for and more. We had our ceremony and reception at Canlis. The staff was wonderful, the venue was gorgeous and the food was amazing. Canlis set up the room, coordinated with the florist, coordinated the champagne toast, reached out to rental companies and took care of all the decorations at the end of the evening. We are so happy with our experience and highly recommend Canlis for couples looking for small intimate wedding venues.

We booked and held our reception in the Executive room at Canlis. All the staff was very
professional and very dedicated to ensuring our event was perfectly they way we dreamt. The food was phenomenal, the ambience elegant and romantic. They made our day truly special.

Katie, the events person was such a joy to work with! She made me feel at ease about everything related to our wedding. Canlis is known for their service and they did not disappoint the night of our wedding. It honestly felt like I was hosting an event at home. The drinks were delicious and the food was incredible. We were so glad that we chose to have such an important event at Canlis :)

Having our ceremony and reception at Canlis was one of the best decisions we made about the wedding! We spent over a year looking at venues and couldn't ever find the perfect one until we came across Canlis. It's a smaller venue (the penthouse above the restaurant) and fits about 60 people, but has amazing views of Gasworks Park and UW as well as the bay. The real reason we picked Canlis, though, was the food and service. I can't speak highly enough about both but was truly impressed by the service. Impeccable. During the dinner service I snuck back to where I had stored my purse which was just outside the kitchen and couldn't believe how seriously they took their job: no joking or laughing, just serious discussions about who was delivering food where. The catering coordinator (Katie) was also great to work with beforehand. Flexible doesn't begin to describe her: she was so easygoing and approachable we were laughing because she said "yes" to almost everything we asked. She had great vendor recommendations for the cake (New Renaissance Cakes) and pianist (Lennon Aldort) and we were very happy with both. It meant the world to us that we could trust her. The whole team at Canlis worked together to make our wedding absolutely perfect!

Canlis is a beautiful venue with impeccable service and amazing food. When we first toured the restaurant I expected to see lofty pricing and to continue my venue search at home that evening. By the time we left I knew I was done looking.

The all inclusive contract made planning easy. I didn't have to get meal counts/choices from guests, just their RSVP. No renting tables, chairs, linens, dishes, flatware, etc. If I wanted upgraded anything they were willing to coordinate it, they would even take care of floral arrangements and entertainment.

The service during the reception was impeccable. They were diligent in the care of each guest, making them all feel comfortable without being intrusive and handling special requests with a smile. When I returned from my honeymoon I was even more surprised to find that my bill was exactly what I expected it to be.
