On the big day she was calm, professional, and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera which made all the difference.

Caitee captured everything so beautifully from the emotional, heartwarming moments to the fun, candid shots of us and our guests dancing all night. She knew what was most important to us and captured it perfectly! Looking through our photos felt like reliving the day all over again.

If you're looking for a wedding photographer, look no further. I cannot say enough good things about Caitee Smith Photography. Being an out of state bride, finding vendors was difficult -- but I knew from the first phone call and look at her gallery that Caitee was our perfect photographer.

She stayed in touch with us the whole year leading up to our wedding, checking in periodically and taking the time to help me develop our wedding timeline which is what we ended up sharing with all the other vendors. She went far beyond the call of duty, becoming a friend during the planning process who I knew would be there for me and was just a text, call or email away.

Now let's talk about quality of work -- WOW. She is a talented photographer and editor. One of the things I told her was most important to me for my wedding was catching the candid moments of emotion on everyone's faces throughout the event. She did that, and I have photos of pure emotion that I will cherish forever. However, she was able to capture these candid moments without sacrificing the more posed elements of a wedding as well. I sent her over an extensive shot list (I was afraid of missing a picture with someone I love!), and she was able to get EVERY photo--she was so professional about making sure I got what I needed with the people I care about. The fact that I have pictures with the people who mean the most to me is treasured.

Somehow, she was everywhere all at once. I have beautiful photos of me and my husband in the ceremony, but also of all my guests. I have photos of us at our cocktail hour talking with our guests, but also photos of my guests with one another! I don't know how she did it with just herself and one other second shooter, but I missed no element of my wedding.

We took a year planning our wedding, but whether you're planning for a few months or a few years, one thing I don't think anyone ever tells you is about how much of your wedding you don't get to see. When you're in it, you don't get to watch the processional, or see your guests taking their seats at the ceremony. You miss seeing the little details. But Caitee captured every moment, and allowed me to relive each and every element of my wedding. She even got a photo of all the details I worked so hard to plan for, like each and every table number (we used photos of special places to us and included a story about that place) and it was such a happy surprise to me to see that she had captured those all as well!

Not only that, but every photo is beautiful, and there are over 1,000 photos. I am obsessed with all of them. She is an artist and has an incredible eye for the special moments. Her editing is light and airy and when I look back at my photos it is exactly what I wanted. They are beautiful. And so many of our favorite photos are recommendations from Caitee, she just knew what would work well. It's incredible to see what she was able to capture. I feel so lucky to be able to treasure these photos forever.

I am confident in saying there is not another photographer who could have done better than Caitee. She was the absolute perfect person to capture our special day. Thank you, Caitee. For anyone looking for a photographer, you will be over the moon if you pick Caitee -- just like we were!

Caitee was amazing and I am so happy I chose her to be my wedding photographer! Our plans changed multiple times over the course of a year and each time she was so flexible, ultimately having to make a trip to be able to shoot our wedding. I was very nervous the whole day and I was worried it would show in my pictures, but it doesnt at all. Caitee got the perfect angles and made both my husband and I so comfortable.
