If I could give more than 5 stars I would in a heartbeat. Brandon photographed our wedding and it was the single greatest decision we made. He provided the most beautiful photos and gave the edits back so quickly. My husband and I are not normally comfortable in front of a camera and Brandon provided the best cues and tips on posing throughout the entire day for not only ourselves but our families as well. He also was extremely efficient with his time, was an absolute pleasure to be around, and went above and beyond to capture our special moments. He brought the most positive energy and we were all laughing the entire day. It is clear the Brandon is an extremely skilled and dedicated professional. We will look at these photos for years to come and will have the most special memories to look back on all because of Brandon.

We called him and he made us feel very comfortable, and we felt even more comfortable during the photoshoots. The wedding ran late and he did his best to stay within the time we booked him for and every single photo turned out amazing!

We got married on 9/12/25 at La Jolla Cove Rooftop in La Jolla, California with Brandon as our photographer. Brandon was beyond our expectations and by far the best out of all of our vendors. I don't even know where to start and I'd give 6 stars if I could.

Brandon came recommended from a friend of a friend who shot their wedding also in La Jolla, California. We met for brunch 6 months before the wedding to walk through potential first look spots and collaborate on how we envisioned the wedding timeline playing out. Throughout our whole wedding planning process, Brandon was professional, responsive, attentive, and always catering to our vision for our day. He continually checked in with us and was texting us leading up to the wedding day. Our top priorities were natural, candid, colorful photos that met the fun, party vibe of our day that showed off the natural beauty of San Diego. Brandon delivered on that vision and then some. We also can't recommend Anna Hunter as a second shooter enough!

We did a first look and he did a great job working with 2 people who needed a lot of direction. He did a great job at keeping us laughing and relaxed throughout the whole day. We never felt rushed or stressed when it came to taking photos on our wedding day. Our favorite advice from him that day was that "everything is content," with some of our favorite photos being the ones that were taken in those "in-between" moments. I'm not joking that people gravitated to Brandon on the dance floor more than they gravitated to the bride and groom on the dance floor. Our guests loved him and he fit right in all day at the wedding.

We didn't do a photobooth so we asked Brandon and his team to take portraits of couples around the venue and our guests loved having the professional photos!

The turnaround was so quick, with 1,000+ photos being uploaded within a few days. Brandon put together a video with drone shots and all of the edited photos with the final gallery coming in at over 4,000+ photos and within 5 weeks. The sections included in the gallery were highlight videos, first look, ceremony, romantics, speeches, grand entrance, reception, getting ready, details, portraits, and family portraits.

Thank you Brandon for contributing to the best day of our lives and creating forever memories! Planning a wedding and your wedding day can be stressful. Everything that had to do with our wedding photography was not only stress-free, but something that we enjoyed and was a stress reliever. This was much more than just another wedding vendor and we look forward to being friends with Brandon!

We would strongly recommend Brandon Colbert for any of your photography needs, for any occasion. We worked with Brandon on both our engagement photos and wedding (including ceremony and reception).

Brandon has an amazing ability to make anyone feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. We usually hate taking photos as we don't know how to pose and aren't very creative. However, we always had a lot of fun working with Brandon as he is happy to jump in and give you ideas for ways to pose and is happy to give feedback in the moment if helpful. We had a ton of guests at our wedding come up to us and express the same gratitude and compliment us on our choice of photographer. He also worked really well with our videographer, and we never even noticed Brandon throughout the day despite him managing to capture every moment, as he was amazing about staying relatively hidden and letting us enjoy each moment authentically.

Brandon is also amazing to work with leading up to your session and after your session. Prior to the day we had a really helpful intro call where we were able to get comfortable with what to expect and we were able to collaborate on what we wanted out of our photos. He was always very responsive in answering any of our questions and requests, and always the first one to answer across all of our wedding vendors. After both of our two times working with Brandon, he was very fast in getting us edited and competed photos on a timely basis, far faster than what we've heard from other friends who've hired wedding photographers.

Brandon's photos are always absolutely beautiful. He has worked across the San Diego area and really knows the best spots, angles, and ways to work with the scenery to get the most out of it. We received a ton of compliments on our photos for how unique and interesting many of the angles were. All of our photos we received were absolutely gorgeous. Even better, Brandon provided us with more than enough amazing pictures to choose from (allowing us to download as many as we want), compared to other photographers who only provide you a very specific set amount of photos which can often be quite low.

You might find cheaper photographers but you will absolutely get what you pay for. Brandon more than makes up for his fees by providing flawless service and quality, and we are so glad we invested in such a great photographer.

Overall we are extremely grateful that we found Brandon and that we were able to work with him for both our engagement and wedding, and we would recommend him to absolutely everyone.

Brandon is amazing and truly loves what he does. Every guest loved him and he took so many beautiful pictures capturing our day.

My fiance and I hired Brandon as our engagement and wedding photographer. So far we have only done our engagement shoot. All the pictures turned out amazing. We got to choose three different locations in San Diego (Balboa Park, Seaport Village and Del Mar State Beach). Brandon takes his time capturing the best shots and can provide the neatest filters and edits on pictures. We used one of our pictures for our "Save the Dates" and we have received so many compliments on the picture. Brandon even offered to edit any specific photos we wanted a little more. I cannot wait for him to photograph our wedding! Overall Brandon is awesome to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

Brandon is always very efficient and helpful, he gets all the shots you want. He is quick with his turn around. I highly recommend him for all weddings for photography and videography.
