The Blue Heron Restaurant is located in a beautifully renovated 150-year-old building and offers one of the most unique and comfortable spaces available in the Pioneer Valley. We are conveniently situated 10 minutes from Amherst, 15 minutes from Northampton and 2 miles from Route 91.
Step into Lincoln Hall (formerly the Great Room) and you can't help but fall in love with its majestic 18-foot tin ceiling and walls, complemented by 1600 square feet of solid maple floors. Decorated in warm colors that reflect the New England landscape, Lincoln Hall is the perfect location for an elegant yet comfortable affair.
Rental of Lincoln Hall includes all tables, chairs, linens & place settings. Available for parties up to 120 guests.

Our full-service catering includes set up, event service and clean up, as well as event planning assistance and on-site management on the day of your event. For an off-premise event, we will coordinate any necessary rentals, including tables, chairs, tents, linens, and table settings.

Top notch professionals and excellent chefs!
The Blue Heron team was a delight to work with throughout. They were professional, patient, and thoughtful about everything - from working with us to craft a personalized menu to finding the most appropriate vendors. We took a do-it-yourself approach to many aspects of our wedding, and the Blue Heron team was happy to collaborate with us, providing critical insights along the way based on their significant experience in both planning and catering events. For anyone who has eaten at the restaurant, there is no need to say how absolutely delicious the food was. For those who haven't, it's amazing. Our guests are still coming back to us months later with comments and memories of how much they enjoyed it. Looking back at the photos I can still taste each dish - from the perfect lobster rolls and melt-in-your mouth tenderloin sliders to the creamy lemon bars and tangy passion fruit tartlets.

great food, friendly staff and beautiful venue!
We were so thrilled with our wedding ceremony and reception at The Blue Heron! The staff were so helpful and friendly! The manager Kendra was great to work with: she was so nice and provided helpful suggestions. The reception hall was gorgeous, the vendor recommendations ie DJ, florist, photographer) were top notch. And the food, OMG the food was amazing! An event coordinator helps ensure the evening goes smoothly which was so helpful. We were so pleased we hired Blue Heron for our wedding at my parents lake cottage.
