We LOVED working with Bloom for our wedding cakes. They don't do tiered cakes, so we did multiple cake rounds in multiple flavors (Pistachio Caramel, Lemon Vanilla Raspberry, and Vegan/GF Vanilla). All of them came out incredible, and our favorite was actually the Vegan Vanilla! Bloom was fairly priced, easy to work with, and made cakes we were proud to serve at our wedding. Thank you so much to the Bloom team for making our day even more special!

Our almond raspberry cake was one of the tastiest cakes I have ever eaten and we are still receiving complements on the offerings for guests. If you are skeptical about the GF and vegan aspects of some of these desserts, do not be, these were beloved by all guests.

We were fortunate to have Bloom cake and cupcakes at our wedding! The bride is gluten-free, and If you’ve been to Bloom, you know how delicious their baked goods are. (If you haven’t been to Bloom, you should go right now.)

The staff was easy to work with and they provided us with a tasting box option to help narrow down the flavors we were looking for. We served cupcakes for our guests: chocolate ganache, carrot cake and blueberry-lemon, all outrageously delicious, and our guests loved them. As for ourselves, we had a chocolate cake with buttercream frosting… and we made a point NOT to share something this good. :-)

Gluten-free or not, if you’re looking for the best cake in the Madison area, then look no further than Bloom.

I adore Bloom Bake Shop, and so when it came time to select a vendor for our wedding cake Bloom was our first call! Nicole was a dream to work with, and made the cake selection process fun and easy. We ended up with three scrumptious flavors (Lemon Rosemary Thyme, Almond Raspberry with Swiss Meringue Buttercream, and Salted Caramel Chocolate). Would hands down recommend working with Bloom again and again!

Nicole was wonderful to work with for my wedding cake. First, she helped me as we were on a budget so we had a 3 tier cake and then regular cakes that were in the serving kitchen which cut down costs. Second I never got to try the cake as I live out of town. Nicole was so helpful and hosted my mom and aunts to try the cake. She was kind and listened as I shared which cakes my mon liked. Nicole helped me use their feedback, suggesting which cakes would be the most moist based on what we were looking for. We ended up with vegan vanilla , chocolate caramel and caramel chocolate. The cakes were moist and sweet, the way I like them. I picked Bloom as they make the most beautiful instagram worthy cakes. When I saw my wedding cake in person it was exactly what I was looking for, beautifully simplistic.

I love Bloom so much! So much that when it came to picking a bakery for our wedding cake I didn't even look into any other options besides Bloom! We got married August 2020 in Door County. Because of travel we couldn't do a tiered cake. This bummed me out at first, but their cake is so delicious that I knew it would be worth it! We did the Semi-Naked with Confectionary Glaze style and it turned out amazing! To still get a tiered look we just got cake stands that were various heights. Nicole was wonderful to work with. She always got back to me in a timely manner and was super flexible. Bloom had to stop booking for weddings because of COVID, but since we had already booked our date back in February they honored that which was also great. The cakes we had were carrot cake, GF Almond Raspberry, and Chocolate Ganache Caramel w/ Cream Cheese frosting. We LOVED all of them! We also had some Traditional Chocolate Chip Cookies, Traditional Sweet Potato Doughnuts, and V/GF Chocolate Chip Cookie Whoopies. All of these were also amazing and helped us cater to everyone's different dietary needs! I can't recommend Bloom enough for both a wedding as well as just an afternoon treat or for breakfast! Wish the Middleton location was still around!

Bloom is wonderful for vegan/GF folks (but also for everyone else with no restrictions). They did cupcakes for my bridal shower & our rehearsal happy hour, and cakes for our wedding. Everything tasted SO GOOD and was decorated just like we had asked. Guests raved about the flavors every time we had Bloom's dessert served. Nicole was so thoughtful throughout the whole planning process & so willing to adjust numbers etc because of COVID changes. We LOVE Bloom and will of course go back whenever we visit Madison.

Nicole from Bloom Bake Shop was such a pleasure to work with! She gave us the most delicious box of cupcakes to try all of the different cake flavors. We ended up getting a lemon rosemary olive oil wedding cake and it was perfect! Both beautiful and delicious :) Thank you!

Nicole at Bloom Bake Shop was so helpful. We had Bloom Bake Shop do the cupcakes for our wedding. We picked up a cupcake tasting box and tried on our own. We emailed her with what we wanted and pictures of how we wanted them to decorate them. They tasted great, and looked great too. We got so many complements on the cupcakes. I would love to stop in the bakeshop another time and pick up a few cupcakes from them. Thanks again!
