Blackwall Hitch is a wedding venue located in Annapolis, Maryland. This restaurant honors the history of the Chesapeake Bay, and adorns a modern interpretation of a classic coastal tavern. Their menu of mouth-watering dishes and array of private event spaces on the property makes for an unforgettable ceremony and reception.

Facilities and Capacity

Blackwall Hitch has multiple private rooms to choose from, each showing off urban-chic décor with a nautical twist.

The main dining room features eclectic Edison lighting, blown glass chandeliers, and table and booth seating for up to 76 guests. Attached is the Wine & Oyster Bar, an ideal place for guests to enjoy cocktails, or even for your caterers to set up their buffet stations.

Separate from the main dining room are the Gathering Room and Living Room, which can be combined to accommodate up to 50 guests. They feature reclaimed wooden farmhouse tables, floral centerpieces, and large windows to bring in natural light. The Gathering Room has painted brick displaying colorful nautical art for a memorable backdrop. For more intimate affairs, the Living Room can be closed off and seat eight people on leather arm chairs and for a cozy atmosphere.

Up to 30 people can enjoy the sea-themed aesthetic in the Sailorman’s Lounge, a well-defined dining room with soft couches and armchairs.

For couples that want a more urban, close-knit setting, the Wine Room features unique wall art, and a chandelier made of 52 blue vintage bottles. A maximum of 10 chairs sit around the reclaimed farmhouse table, with access to a rustic hutch to display hors d’oeuvres and desserts.

On the second floor of Blackwall Hitch is the Captain’s Quarters, a contemporary space with a half-glass wall overlooking the main entrance. It is ideal for seated events of up to 16, or for standing cocktail hours of up to 20.

Finally, engaged couples looking for an outdoor ceremony or reception can enjoy the Crow’s Nest, the property’s rooftop deck overlooking downtown Annapolis. Up to 80 guests can enjoy the comfortable wicker lounge seating during the spring and summer, or a heated rooftop tent during the colder months.
