This tiny, family owned bakery was our favorite place to drink some of the most amazing coffee in San Diego. It's a mom and pop place where you can sit and enjoy a great cup of coffee and dessert. We scheduled a taste testing and loved all of the flavors. Their frosting is perfect- not too sweet, but just right. We decided to go with a cupcake/cake combination. The cupcakes are HUGE, and we loved that the prices were really affordable. Thanks Big Joy Family!!

We loved the Asian cakes and so did our guest we have only 2 pieces leftover! They are a little more than what we wanted to pay but it was worth it. We did ask a friend to pick it up for us so that we would save on the delivery fee.
We ended up getting their strawberry shortcake (not heavy at all very light) with whipped cream and had been decorated with Japanese flower blossoms on it. We also had a sheet cake of passion fruit mouse which was also delicious!
