If you are reading this review and Emma has your date open, BOOK HER. Emma helped us seamlessly navigate planning an 170-person wedding, through a COVID-related delay, that was 1,000 miles away from where we were living. She was with us every step of the way, not only helping plan out and execute every detail but keeping us sane along the way. If I had to give anyone planning a wedding one piece of (unsolicited :)) advice, it would be this: hire vendors that you like. People that you want to work with, that you trust, and can also enjoy the process with. Emma is that person. She's extremely organized, kind, patient, and direct when she needs to be (like corraling people on the wedding day!). During my wedding weekend, one of my bridesmaids came up to me and said "I thought I had a good wedding planner... until I met Emma." Do yourself a huge favor and hire betrothed event & wedding planning.

Emma at Betrothed was amazing from beginning to end - always happy to help with any questions/decision making and she went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day went as smoothly as possible. When we realized there was no gin for one of our two signature cocktails just minutes before the ceremony began, on 4th of July no less, she found an open liquor store and got it back to the wedding before cocktail hour even started. Magic!
Her whole organization system for the day and leading up to the wedding was reassuring in itself. Obviously wedding planning is overwhelming and stressful, but knowing we had Emma to run the show made us feel 100% better.
We were lucky enough to hire her just as she was starting her business (though she had an extensive event planning background beforehand), but honestly, she is more than worth the price she charges for her services now. Bottom line, hire her - she's amazing!

With covid post-poning it was a long road of planning and re-planning and Emma was along the ride for the whole thing! She was always there to lean on, talk through any small detail and our parter in crime! I would highly recommend her for your wedding planning!

When I started the wedding planning process I knew right away that I would need help on the day of the wedding with helping my vision come to life. By the time I met Emma I had already planned the majority of my wedding but hired her for month of coordination. Our original plan was to get married June 27th, 2020 but unfortunately we had to postpone our reception to June 25th, 2021 due to COVID-19. Emma checked in with us throughout the entire pandemic and following year going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She is everything you could ask for in a wedding planner; organized, detail oriented, timely, and just a friendly human being you want to be around.

When the month of our wedding finally arrived Emma continued to be there every step of the way to answer my questions, contact vendors, plan timelines, and to pick of items from my house (which is over an hour away from her and she always offered to bring me Starbucks!).

On our wedding day Emma was there bright and early to check in with me and my bridal party. Emma had brought her steamer and steamed not only my wedding dress but also my bridesmaids! She proceeded to then make my Lace Factory wedding vision a reality. I'm a type A person and Emma set up everything EXACTLY how I envisioned. I was able to enjoy every second of my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, because of Emma! We received so many compliments on the carefree, happy, and loving vibe we had in the room!

At the end of the night Emma packed up all of our day of items, gifts, flowers, and food, and brought it back to our hotel. Again, she went above and beyond and if I could give Emma a million stars I would :)

When my husband and I got engaged I was very confident that we did not need a wedding planner. The two of us love planning and organizing so it seemed unnecessary. However, we met Emma while my husband was a groomsman in another wedding, and watched her work her magic firsthand. I was sold! We hired Emma as a wedding coordinator and it made all the difference in our day. When the pandemic first hit, Emma checked in with us to see how she could support us. We talked through different options, and Emma was up for any and all. Our day would not have gone so flawlessly without her. We ended up having a small ceremony at our venue and then a backyard reception. Emma helped us manage what we needed when, and coordinated with all of our vendors. She helped decorate the backyard and clean up at the end of the night, and brought decor and set up our ceremony site. Don’t even get my started on her emergency kit, it is beyond impressive. Emma also was available the days after the wedding to check in if there were items we couldn’t find/locate.Because of Covid and our plans shifting so much I had a lot of worries/stress going into our wedding day. However, Emma took care of everything so I was actually able to enjoy our full wedding day. Most of that was because I knew that if something went wrong, Emma was there to manage it. This also took the stress off our family and bridal party. Emma communicated with us throughout the day so we knew what was happening, without having to worry about it. She checked in with us to see if what was planned still worked or if we needed to adjust at all. I cannot recommend hiring Emma enough, it will make all the difference.

I am so happy that we hired Emma to help with wedding planning. It is one thing that a lot of couples don't think that they need, but it took so much of the stress away and we actually enjoyed the planning process! There are so many moving parts involved with planning a wedding, and Emma made the whole process a breeze. From day one, Emma was there to help us with vendor research (especially with comparing venues), as well as answering any questions we had. Emma is very professional and friendly. 2020 has been a difficult year for everyone, and trying to plan a wedding with so many unknowns was not the most fun I have ever had. Emma continued to support us through the pandemic and stayed up to date with the rules and regulations so we had a good idea of what our day would look like from pretty early on. On the day of the wedding, Emma's team helped with everything from setting up table centerpieces and other decor, to making sure my husband and I had everything we needed throughout the night. Once the wedding started, we had nothing to worry about because we knew we were in good hands and we were really able to enjoy our day with our guests. For anyone on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, you will absolutely not regret hiring Emma and the betrothed team!!

We hired Betrothed Weddings & Events for month-of planning and my only regret is that we did not hire Emma for full service planning. Even though we only hired Betrothed for month-of services, Emma still checked in with us every month from the moment we hired her and made sure all of our questions were answers as we navigated the planning process. She always made us feel supported and heard every step of the way!

2 months leading up to our wedding, Emma was always organized in gathering all the details she need to know how to make our day the best! Her insight and guidance were extremely valuable and our vendor team raved about working with her.

On the wedding weekend itself, Emma conducted a very thorough Rehearsal with our entire bridal party and family so everyone knew what to expect the next day. She even had packets made for everyone involved with visuals on when to walk down the aisle and where to stand, along with a timeline of the day. On the day itself, everything went amazing and Emma and her assistant were there to ensure we didn't have to worry about a thing!

Emma was so trustworthy, valuable, and was the best decision we made. We cannot thank her enough and will always remember our favorite day and how seamless it went because of her!

I highly recommend betrothed for any of your wedding planning needs! Emma was an absolute godsend as my day-of coordinator. I was initially on the fence about spending money on any outside planning services for my wedding. I was set on doing it all myself, but let me tell you - hiring betrothed was worth every penny! Throughout the entire process, Emma made sure that she understood my vision and always put my mind at ease. During the planning process, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was communicated clearly. She offered insight when needed without pushing me to do anything. On the actual wedding day, she coordinated everything. She kept things on track, intercepted any questions, addressed any concerns, and made sure I (the bride) didn't have to worry about anything. I should also mention that my family, wedding party, guests, and vendors all loved interacting with the betrothed team. I should also mention that their pricing is extremely competitive. You will certainly get a LOT of  value for the investment in Emma and her team.

We cannot thank Emma enough for the amazing job she did as our wedding planner!! Tim and I had our wedding at Mill 1 at Open Square and were given 3 hours before the reception to set everything up ourselves. We thought we could do it ourselves, but quickly realized what an impossible task this would be the day of the wedding. We had outside vendors for our caterer, cake, photographer, and dj that Emma coordinated with to make our day run perfectly. Emma took so much stress off of us that day by coordinating everything, setting up our reception space, and even dropping off all the decorations right at our house that night. She set a timeline up for the day and sent it to all the vendors which helped keep everyone including our wedding party on track with where they had to be and when. The night before the wedding I lost the best man’s tie and asked her to look through the decorations I gave her. When she couldn’t find it, she offered to go out and get him one before the ceremony. She was amazing and really took the stress off of us. The day of the wedding the one job of my wedding party was to pack me snacks...which they forgot, but luckily Emma’s husband who was helping her out came to the rescue with granola bars (she even had snacks prepared!!) The vendors were all impressed with Emma and kept asking us where we found her because they “never saw such incredible organization and kindness.” Even our priest was impressed with how smoothly the rehearsal went and loved her picture chart of where everyone would walk in/stand. I could go on forever about how amazing Emma and her husband are, but you should find out for yourself and book her for your wedding! She is truly one of a kind and will help make your day everything you dreamed it would be.

Hiring Emma was the absolute best decision we made in regards to our wedding day. Thank you does not even begin to cover how we feel in the afterglow of our wedding. Emma consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and comfortable throughout this whole process. Her professionalism and experience excels in handling each detail, vendor and moving piece. We knew we needed extra help in planning our wedding - Emma helped us get organized, stay organized and execute on our vision.
