About

Bethpage Camp Resort is one of the nicest waterfront venues for events you will find in the state of Virginia. Located on 148 acres, Bethpage has a 12,000 square foot state-of-the-art catering facility that overlooks Robinson's Creek, feeding the Rappahannock River. Pine beams, a gray slate floor and large expansive windows overlooking the water give our facility its' beauty and grandeur. If you are looking for a serene, waterfront setting to host your wedding reception, then Bethpage is THE place.

While we are a camping resort, we also have modern 1, 2 and 3 bedroom rental units where guests can stay for your event. A waterfront gazebo, at our outdoor amphitheatre, makes a beautiful location for your wedding ceremony and is in close proximity to the reception hall.

The Bethpager is our fully restored Chesapeake Bay Deadrise fishing vessel that has been restored and converted into a private charter vessel. It is available to charter for rehearsal dinners for your bridal party or for any small function.

We got married at bethpage on 9/29/2012 and worked with Connie. Sarah and Katie helped and Helen was our caterer. Helen's food was absolutely amazing!! everyone talked about how great everything tasted. And Connie and her crew were on point and had everything amazing looking, they did the set up of the entire reception and even had a guy meet us to help us at the gazebo to decorate. It was a little hard to get ahold of Helen or Connie a majority of the time but in the end everything was perfect and that's what matters. There was only one thing i didn't like and that was the fact i was never told anything about gratuity being added to the bill so i had tipped the night of the wedding not realizing about gratuity until the balance was paid in the morning..so everyone got double tipped!..Other than that i had an amazing time and everyone was so great to work with!! :)

Went with my mother and 8 year old late in the season last year and was excited to vacation again there this year. Made a reservation in May for August then realized that the dates selected were actually during the first week of school a month later. Called back and as usual, the friendly staff let me know that I can change the reservation for a $20 admin fee- great! Not understanding there was a time limit on the offer, when they called to talk about something else in regards to the reservation a few weeks out, I was told again that I can change the reservation date possibly even to the following season- great! Just got off the phone and was told that I can't and just lost out on roughly $500. So, beware! Read, that cancelation policy- they require a full 60 days notice to change a reservation, for a fee, anything within that timeframe, you could loose your deposit.
Unfortunately, we will not be visiting them in the future or referring our friends to the campsite.
