Walking in to the salon you are greeted with a smile and offered a beverage, water, tea, coffee, massage, oh wait, that comes later. Then you get a tour that makes you realize that you made a good choice. After a thorough consultation you will be escorted over to the Color Bar or taken back to the Wash House. The Color Bar is an area of the salon where there are no mirrors. All of the color is mixed in front of you while you sit in a nice social circle. There's no mysteries here. Now back to the Wash House, remember when I mentioned massage? This is where the magic happens. They need to create a new word for shampoo and you will understand why after you experience the Wash House. It is a separate quiet dim lit room with its own sound system where you get a phenomenal head, neck, and shoulder massage. Gentlemen, you get to experience it twice, once before your cut and once after to get all the little hairs off of you. You'll think to yourself, "I could go home now and be perfectly OK with this if my reservation was over right now". Wait! There's more!(insert infomercial voice) Now you get a fabulous haircut, blow dry and style while your stylist educates you on what products are best for your hair.
