Purpose and Priority The purpose of Port public spaces is to provide public access, support Port business operations and facilitate community uses. In an effort to balance community access and private demand, the Port has decided to offer whenever possible, certain public spaces for community and private events when they do not overly restrict access by the general public or interfere with Port business operations.

Customer Service The events staff is strongly oriented toward providing excellent customer service to ensure that meetings and events occurring at port facilities are successful.

Location next to Marine Park helped give us the combination indoor/outdoor spot we dreamed of without the fear of not having a rain plan. Our wedding genuinely highlighted some of the most beautiful pieces of Bellingham. Owned by the city and therefore reasonably priced—do get a coordinator to help organize though as it is complete DIY!

Beautiful view!
Getting married at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal was AMAZING! Not only was the value fantastic, it was so beautiful and made for beautiful pictures! You can't beat the view! We were able to use the space to rehearse the night before for no extra charge. I highly recommend this venue!

We had our ceremony and reception at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal. It was beautiful and worked perfectly for our wedding (size approx 120). We rented the upper floor and had appetizers, drinks, and a receiving line out there while the dome room was transformed into our reception area. The Port contact, Jerry, was incredibly helpful and let us look at the space additional times, working with our decorator, and answering requests for info at no additional cost. We made sure to leave plenty of time to take things down to ensure we received our full damage deposit back (we had heard this was a sticky point for other events). All in all it was a beautiful and very budget friendly venue that I would highly recommend.
