Sheryl is an artist - she worked with my facial features to enhance, but not overpower my look. I was interested in lighter, natural make-up because I have lighter hair, and her work was very impactful in spite of the lighter colors. She used some techniques on my eyes that I'd never used before that really accentuated them (and I'm not someone who doesn't do make-up ever). The photos turned out so well!! I also appreciated her attention to color - she considered not only my complexion, but my outfits/color accents, and used lip and cheek color that really brought out the best in both, tying them together.

With respect to hair, that turned out like all the beautiful instagram images where you assume they're just using hair models! She made my hair look a lot more thick and lush (thank you!!), with natural waves that wove in and out in the back -- I almost didn't recognize it.

For me, the most important part of make-up/hair is the artistry and skill, but I also genuinely enjoyed Sheryl's company. She has a very soothing yet fun presence, and turned my time with her into something very calming, like a pampering. She even skipped lunch due to my group's timing issues, and while I can't condone that (everyone deserves normal breaks!), it shows her dedication to her craft and her client. I would definitely work with her again - very solid work!

I had Sheryl do my hair for my wedding photos! I found her on wedding wire. I was very nervous because I do not get beauty services often, but Sheryl was very comfortable to work with and it was easy to communicate what I wanted. She was able to help me determine what time to have the appointment, since I am not from the area and I was really worried about being on time to the outdoor location. She is very transparent about cost, which was a big plus for me because I had a set budget.
