Beauty by Jhori is a freelance makeup artist that services all areas of New York, as well as New Jersey, Long Island, and destination weddings. Having qualified via the Austin School of Spa Technology in 2016, Jhori began working on film sets, including ‘The Pretenders’ directed by James Franco. She can create everything from dramatic looks to a natural, airbrushed finish. She specializes in wedding beauty, and her work was once featured in the New York Times as part of a high-profile wedding of an actress/director. Beautiful natural look
Jhori is amazing! She did mine and 5 bridesmaids makeup by herself. I never wear makeup, and she was able to do a lovely natural look that still felt like me. She even gives you a little touch up kit for later in the night.

Everyone looked beautiful!
Jhori did such a fantastic job with everyone's makeup at our wedding! She was great about listening to what we wanted and was super helpful when I asked for some minor color/style changes after my trial (she went out and found the perfect lipstick shade for me and then even gave it to me to keep!) She made everyone look beautiful!

Absolutely incredible makeup artist
Jhori is absolutely incredible! I ended up getting two makeup trials with two completely different looks and she executed them perfectly. She listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure I was happy with every single piece of it. She’s amazing and my bridesmaids were sooo impressed day of! They looked their makeup looks

Beyond Grateful for Jhori
Where do I even begin? I cannot say enough positive things about Jhori to convey my gratitude and appreciation for her and my wedding experience with her. Jhori is so kind, professional, talented and genuinely cares about her brides. I enjoyed working with her from makeup trial to the big day itself. She was a radiant light of joy the morning of my wedding. She made everyone she worked with feel like a celebrity and the prettiest versions of ourselves and I feel very fortunate to have found her and secured her as part of our wedding team for our special day. She really makes your wedding vision come to life and I could not be more satisfied with my experience. Any bride that gets to work with her should consider themselves lucky. Amazing Wedding Makeup!!!
I hired Jhori to do my makeup for my wedding day after another makeup artist I had reached out to wasn't available and recommended her. I was looking for someone that did natural and clean looking makeup, and not the super over-the-top glam makeup you envision when you think of typical wedding makeup. Jhori fully understood the look I was going for, and I cannot rave enough about how amazing she was!!!
I am SO beyond happy with her service! Not only did she complete 10 girls makeup in a few short hours, but she did it PERFECTLY. All of my girlfriends were so thrilled with how their makeup turned out, and loved how friendly Jhori was.
Jhori provided all of my bridesmaids and myself with little lipstick containers to-go with the color she used so we can give ourselves touch-ups throughout the night. This is one of the things that sets Jhori apart from any other makeup artist I have used before. From her attentiveness, to thoughtfulness, to talent, I cannot recommend her enough!!!

Jhori was so amazing to work with. She was super efficient in getting my part of 7 (+ a last minute addition) done in plenty of time for my first look. She had such a calming presence and was so flexible the day of. I hope to work with her again one day ❤️ HIRE HER!

Amazing. Professional. Skilled. Kind. Personable. Just 5 of about 500 different words I could use to describe how fantastic Jhori is. This was not the first time I've used Jhori for makeup services, so I KNEW I needed her when it came time for my big day.
I didn't have to think twice before booking Beauty by Jhori. For my wedding in October, Jhori did 9 adults, and one child, and everyone looked incredible. We received compliments all night, and the makeup withstood over 9 hours of Dancing, Crying, Laughing, Drinking, and Chambonging - LOTS OF CHAMBONGING!!!
She even provided me with a touch-up kit, but it wasn't needed!

Fantastic experience
