I did a trial and she took the time to sit down with me before we started to go over my vision and talk about what’s best for my look. So easy to work with. It felt like we’ve been friends for years. She went above and beyond to make my bridesmaids and I feel special! Her and Courtney did AMAZING and had the best vibe all day! Will definitely be booking her again for future makeup needs!

She understood the assignment in so many ways and from the moment I met her I knew I was in the best hands. First of all, the trial was incredible and she really listened to what I wanted and envisioned. She made glam work for ME, not the other way around. She took my inspiration and knocked it out of the park...I knew my wedding day would be the same way.

On the actual day not only did she take the best care of me but she also slayed other girls' makeup, too. For me, it was more than just her execution of my trial makeup (but somehow even better) but it was also how she totally got me with my wedding day nerves and worries. She helped me more than she knows, with her spunky attitude and humor, and her deep focusing on the artwork she was creating. When she revealed the results, I was absolutely blown away.

The entire day, I felt so incredibly beautiful. My makeup did not budge at all despite the hours of dancing, sweating, and smiling for pictures.

Mel absolutely killed it for my wedding. She took the time to review every single aspect of the vision I had and executed it perfectly. She is so much fun and my girls and I didn’t stop laughing the entire time we were in her chair!! Being a bride is intense with lots of emotions and running around, and it was such a relief to not have to worry about my makeup running or not looking good in photos. I wish there was a word bigger than queen or expert, but that is what Mel is when it comes to doing makeup. I have oily skin and big pores and come day of my wedding, I was literally movie star FLAWLESS. She came through and went above my expectations. I can't count how many compliments I recieved on my special day saying I looked like a porcelain doll, in the best way possible! Not a freaky way lol. She has an amazingly true gift in the makeup business. I have always loved doing makeup but was no where near her level, so I payed the price and let me tell you, you get what you pay for!! Not to mention, she herself is a major hype girl. Which this world needs more of! I had the GREATEST experience with Mel. I can’t even put into words how amazing she was to work with for my wedding. My wedding party looked perfect and I was obsessed with my make up. It looked amazing all night long. She brought her super talented assistant, Courtney, and they were on time, stuck to the timeline and had us ready to go even a little early! Using Mel was by far one of the best and easiest decisions to make for my wedding. I left my bridal trial feeling so good about myself I didn’t want to even wash my face!
