After following several photographers on social media, my husband and I decided to go with Kayla Ruth Photography for our wedding. We absolutely loved her style, and after contacting her, we knew immediately that she was the perfect fit. We initially met about 6 months prior to our wedding to do an engagement session together. Kayla was professional, kind, and open to allowing us to be ourselves. The pictures turned out amazing, which made us even more anxious for her to photograph our wedding. We got married on a Friday afternoon, and it was very sunny and breezy. We made an impromptu decision to move our ceremony and reception indoors due to the cold, but Kayla took it in stride. I really wanted to have our first look before the ceremony take place outdoors because I loved the look of our venue. Kayla took the time to scout out spots where we could get pictures without having to deal with harsh shadows, squinting, wind, etc. She worked well with us, and everything flowed smoothly. Right before the first look and again before the ceremony, Kayla came to check on me and help calm my nerves. She captured all of my "must-have" photos, and came up with some suggestions for poses that turned out great. She also wasn't afraid to crawl on the ground or get wet/dirty to capture the perfect shot. I have gotten so many compliments on our photos, and I owe it all to Kayla. She really listened to what we wanted and helped our vision come to life. My husband and I agree that we have found our go-to photographer. We have had more photos done with Kayla since our wedding, and we plan to continue using her in the future! I 100% reccomend her work!

Kayla Ruth Photography is amazing. I now brag that i have the best photographer around! She was the photographer for our wedding and from the engagement session we knew she was right for us. she is fun and makes everyone feel relaxed. knows many tricks to help you pose that make your photos look top notch. Everyone at the wedding responded well to her and complimented how well she did and how amazing our photos look. We have no complaints, but so much praise and compliments to give!

Working with Kayla was wonderful from beginning to end with our engagement and wedding pictures! Communication was easy and she always responded quickly to my questions. Our wedding pictures were edited and completed extremely quickly as well (we received them a week after our wedding-not sure that lightening quick turnaround can always be done depending on how busy she might get at different times-but just shows how hard she worked and how dedicated she was to getting us our pictures). We absolutely loved our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures are truly beautiful. The quality and her editing style was perfect-I was in awe when we received our wedding pictures. We will cherish these pictures for the rest of our lives! Our keepsake flash drive and prints are a wonderful addition. Kayla was absolutely amazing for our engagement photo shoot. This was the first time we have ever had a photo shoot, so we weren't sure what to expect, but Kayla put us at ease immediately with how friendly and fun she was. She was even extremely flexible with us when we asked to move the location around a couple of miles after we had scoped out the area a couple of hours before our session. She was also very, very quick with the photos, giving us a little teaser just two days after our session and then we had all of our photos within a week and a half and I can't even begin to describe how beautiful they are. I had an image in my head of what I thought they would look like, and Kayla blew that away. The photos are amazing, beautiful, stunning ... I could really go on and on. I fully plan to cover our home with these photos and have been showing them to every person I know.

Kayla did an outstanding job with our engagement and wedding photos. She was extremely easy to work with, and very professional and personable. We had our pictures in less than a month's time and the online gallery made it super easy to share with family and friends. Kayla and Bri did a fantastic job shooting our wedding this August!
It was Kayla's first time at our venue, but she met with us beforehand to scope out spots that had been venue-approved (It was a golf course so photography areas were restricted). Flash forward to the day of the wedding, and there was a huge downpour! Family pictures had to be moved inside to a location that was not ideal, but the pictures turned out well. I was disappointed the weather did not hold up because the pictures would have been gorgeous outside, but this is in no way Kayla's fault. We were able to capture some bridal party pictures and bride/groom pics outside once the storm had stopped. These are the best of all! It truly felt like Kayla was present at every moment to capture perfect memories (without feeling intrusive). I am having such a difficult time deciding which pictures to hang in our home. They are all so beautiful. Thanks Kayla & Bri!

Kayla was so flexible throughout our entire wedding process! She even let me borrow her own shoes when mine began sinking into the wet grass during our pictures! She is outstanding.

Kayla was an excellent photographer. My husband an I loved our engagement and wedding photos! Kayla was very laid back and made us both feel very comfortable during the sessions. She was just like having one of my own girl friends with me on my special day making sure i was getting every moment I wanted captured. We will be using her in the future!

I cannot begin to say enough good things about Kayla! I just got my pictures back and they came out so beautifully. Kayla was awesome with communication and her prices were amazing. She also did our engagement photos back in February and believe me this woman had to be frozen, she was on her hands and knees in the snow taking our pictures. She had some really great ideas but didn't mind at all that I had a few of my own that I'd like to do. She was really flexible too and not afraid that our pictures that we requested would look "too" silly...which they may have been for a formal affair but that's just how my family is (i.e. I asked her to take a picture that day of me in all of my wedding get up blowing a bubble with bubblegum-it's actually one of my favorites!). The angles she chose and the uniqueness of the pictures are going to be something I treasure forever. In a giant album because there are so many photos to choose from!

Kayla did an amazing job on our engagement and wedding photos. She went above and beyond. We will be using her services again!
