Beats and Focus

We used Beats and Focus for all of the services they offer - Photography, Videography, and DJ. The value received tremendous value capitalizing on all three services, and not just monetarily. The communication was effortless, and our communications covered all three services saving tons of time in the planning process. They were extremely professional during all meetings and executing our wedding. Our finished products were phenomenal and left us and others that viewed in a state of amazement. I would highly recommend using Beats and Focus for phenomenal services, ease of planning, and financial value.

when looking for DJs I wanted to make sure that I had picked someone that was also an MC Matt knocked it out of the park. I had so many people come up to me the day after the wedding and say how awesome it was. He kept everyone on the dance floor like I requested the entire night. We didn’t stop dancing! Matthew did our ceremony cocktail hour and reception, The processional songs and everything that I had picked was played perfectly on time. The flow between the ceremony and cocktail hour was very fluid. As for when the parents and bridal party were introduced, he reviewed everything right before walking out just to be sure it was perfect and it was. There was no standing around wondering what was next for mine and my husband‘s dances, the parent dances everything had a perfect flow. I also wanted to do the table game where the bride and groom run around to each table and try to take photos as fast as we can Matt recommend recommended a song we use and it was PERFECT. As far as my playlist I added, maybe 40 songs and I really just told Matt to go with the vibe and keep people out on the dance floor and pick whatever songs he thought. From Motown to 80s hits to current country to 2010s R&B with such a wide variety of music I didn’t know how it was gonna be, but that dance floor was packed all night and it was because of Matt I couldn’t have gotten a better person to spend this day with us while being overall amazing. He was also so keen on little details to make sure that our day flowed perfectly. I would book him again and again if I could. We also got the Photo Booth add-on, which I think everybody should do. We got so many photos from that night that were so candid but also so many photos of people just enjoying their night.

We hired Beats and Focus for our February 2026 wedding and could not have been happier with our choice! From the beginning, Matt was eager to get to know up in order to curate the best music selection for our day. We had several phone calls to determine planning and organizing of the day. He has an easy to navigate document that we were able to fill out with the major decisions, processional, recessional, first dance, parents dances, etc with the ability to put a link to the preferred music. We wanted a night that people did not want to sit down and that is what he delivered. He talked our guests through The Hora, which was new to him, but he did his homework and did a great job! We had an absolute blast and could not be happier with the way our wedding day went! We would absolutely recommend hiring Beats and Focus for your wedding day or other events!

After our first meeting with Matt and Rachel we instantly knew we had to book them, and it was one of the best decisions we made wedding planning. They were so easy to work with, listened to and respected all of our ideas and requests, and truly delivered an unforgettable experience. We’re so happy we chose Matt from Beats and Focus as our wedding DJ! From the very beginning, he was super helpful and easy to work with. She perfectly captured everything I would have wanted to save from the day, the pictures are beautiful, stunning quality, with a reasonable turnaround time. Rachel worked closely with me on all the details and was so accommodating. Thanks to her, I’ll have these memories preserved forever. I cannot recommend Beats & Focus highly enough.
