Why Billy? He actually listens to what you want, jumps on the game plan easily, and works so professionally well with others. Billy is prepared, professional, and has a knack for creating unique wedding videos. He doesn't get in the way of photographers but doesn't let the photography get in the way of perfect video shots. He's timely. He captures the details of a wedding that is easy to miss when you are the bride and groom. He makes everything flow well and doesn't not bring awkward silence or uncomfortable moments. He knows what he is doing and he does it well.

What makes him different from the rest?
Everyone wants their own style wedding highlight clip, but I am going to be biased and say what Billy makes blows other videographers out of the water. Why? Because he actually highlights the couple and their wedding instead of making short videos with trendy love songs in it. Our wedding highlight video is timeless because of Billy. He edited it to capture the love between me and my husband but he also highlighted what we said to each other in our vows and what others said about us in their speeches. Why is this better than a bunch of b roll with trendy music? Because as the years go on what people said at your wedding will start to fade but with an edited video from Billy you will never have to worry about forgetting what people said said and how you felt that day. We can listen to our favorite love songs any day of the week, but you can't relive your wedding, unless if you use BE Studios for your videography.

What made our wedding special?
Billy contributed to making wedding planning easy. He didn't hound us with information when planning and let us ask questions. He told us his basic plan for videography and listened to our hopes from there. Billy got to our venue before my husband and I did and didn't waste a second! By the time I arrived he said he already did shots of my wedding dress, details shots, venue shots etc. He didn't waste time. I appreciate a person who knows their job and doesn't sit around waiting for direction.

How long do you have to wait to get a video?
Billy got us an edited highlight clip that was more than 6 minutes long within THREE weeks from our wedding date. His contract says he will get it to you within 2 months but this guy is DEDICATED to his craft and will work his butt off to get you the best looking, best sounding video, as soon as possible.

Any other details I should know before I pick BE Studios?:
Billy is super easy to communicate with. He is enthusiastic. He is fun. He makes videos unique to each couple. He communicates with your venue and any other vendors. Our wedding had rain and he instantly jumped into action with a game plan of video footage even though we couldn't be outside. He doesn't waste a second of the service you pay for. He even brought a cute clear umbrella for us to take video/photo shots under!!! A small but incredibly thoughtful detail. He is flexible and even worked with us ahead of time to schedule staying longer at our wedding and making a longer highlight clip than usual for us. His second videographer is hand picked by him and is just as professional and works well as a team.

We absolutely loved working with Billy! We had our engagement shoot with him about a year before our wedding and loved his vibe immediately, he put us at ease in front of the camera, was very friendly, stayed over the time frame discussed to get all the shots we wanted, and delivered awesome pictures! Also, we don’t live in San Diego so we didn’t have anyone to hold our dog during pictures that didn’t include her, and he was amazing at wrangling her while simultaneously shooting shots of just the two of us!

He was also an absolute godsend on our wedding day. I’d definitely recommend him for couples who are getting married at the Safari Park, as it’s quite a big venue and it was incredibly helpful to have a photographer familiar with the park and who knew the best places for good shots. Billy suggested an amazing spot for our first look and private vows, and took loads of great shots as we walked through the park. He’s super friendly and a consummate professional, absolutely someone you want to work with on one of the most important days of your life. He is also incredibly communicative, which we loved. We truly can’t recommend him highly enough!

Billy Economou, owner of BE Studios, is simply the best! We wanted a team that offered both photography and videography, and Billy’s vibrant and tasteful style immediately stood out. His photos are stunning—colorful, flattering, and perfectly capture both the fun and emotional moments of the day. Billy and his crew were professional, efficient, and made everyone feel comfortable (even the kids loved him!). We got all our content on time and had a tough time choosing favorites because there were so many amazing shots. You can tell they truly love what they do because it shows in every photo and video. We also had multiple guests comment on how handsome the whole team was lol, bonus points! I even trusted Billy’s recommendation for a wedding planner, and it was spot on. We’ll definitely be hiring BE Studios again for future milestones!

Billy and his team were absolutely amazing. He did our engagement photos, wedding photos, and wedding video, and we love it all. Billy and his team were responsive, professional, and super friendly and fun to have around. In terms of photos, Billy made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and put us at ease. He was able to get all the flower girls and ring bearers (6 kids under 6) to pose for all the pictures—an almost impossible feat. We love all of the photos - they are not only what we wanted, but also include photos we didn’t know we would want that are now our favorites. In terms of the video, the highlight video is great. We didn’t know what to expect, and it managed to exceed our expectations. We love that it’s a shorter highlight video that we will actually sit down and watch rather than one of the videos that no one ever gets out. We could not recommend Billy more - he truly made our day so easy and has given us memories that will last forever.
