Beth has been wonerful!
Beth met with us and was able to answer all of our questions and offer sugestion to make our day even more special. She even gave us suggestion for our out of town guests. I'm so happy with our choice.

Absolutely everything was fantastic. The food was great and the room was located right next to the boardwalk. We were able to take pictures on the beach.

Everything was more than I could ever dream of thanks to Primo Events ...We saw them on wedding wire and decided to move forward with their services because they include a beach ceremony, minister, photography, linens, and disc jockey as the hotels in virginia beach only offer the food service. This made alot of sense as It was the best all inclusive wedding package I could have chosen considering since I live in North Carolina and had to plan everything from there. My family was so impressed with the wedding vendors as they did a "fab" job. Last but not least, Nicole at the Barclay towers was awesome and my life saver throughout this journey. She assisted me with every last menu detail until the moment my husband and I entered the reception hall. Food at the Barclay was delicious. So happy we used primo events .
Greatly appreciate every person who made our wedding a success.

Working with Nicole at Barclay Towers was wonderful. I appreciated her flexibility and her attention to detail. She even wanted to double check the décor a few days before the wedding to make sure that she had everything written down properly.
The Barclay Towers has two banquet rooms, which was perfect for us. We used one room for the ceremony and one room for the reception. The main reason that we chose Barclay Towers was budget. Many hotels had higher food minimums than we could afford, even for a Friday night wedding. But the Barclay is more flexible and offered a discount on Friday night weddings, so the food minimum was right where we needed it.
The food at the wedding was delicious. We gave the guests a choice between New York Strip and Roasted Chicken. Both dishes were tasty (and also affordable!) The servers were professional and helpful and took good care of the guests.
The parking situation is a little complicated, since it's at the boardwalk, but overall, I give the Barclay an A+ for a beautiful wedding.

Overall Great especially for the price
My wedding was at Barclay Towers, overall it was great. The food was exceptionally good. The price point was significantly below everywhere else at the oceanfront. We only had 2 significant problems. The first was parking. It was my understanding that the hotel had limited parking and that if their lot filled, guests would then need to park in the city garage. I found out at the rehearsal, less than 24 hours before the wedding that NO ONE was allowed to park in the hotel parking lot. If I had been aware of this ahead of time, I would have looked into renting the garage from the city so guests wouldn’t have to pay for parking (and factored that cost into deciding whether to go to a different venue) or at least, at bare minimum, could have given guests more clear instructions on where to go. The other major problem was the sound system. I did not plan to have a DJ because we did not want to have dancing. I did want background music for dinner. I asked the event coordinator at least twice if they had a sound system that I could plug an iPod into, she assured me that they did. On the morning of my wedding it turned out that nobody knew how it worked. When they figured it out the speakers were very staticky so the volume had to be turned very low and it could not be heard. The event coordinator was very nice, but seemed like the hotel doesn’t host a lot of weddings and they were figuring it out as they went. Overall it turned out nice and was very reasonably priced for the location and was somewhat all inclusive (I only hired photographer, officiant and brought cake and flowers - not including centerpieces - those were provided and nice).
