We are a wedding venue located in Middletown, Delaware. This event space offers a nature-inspired setting, scenic views, and numerous photo opportunities for your wedding. The dedicated staff strives to deliver an experience that’s as stress-free as possible so that you can relax and enjoy your big day. Couples holding their nuptials here are guaranteed an experience that they and their guests will remember for years to come.
Facilities and Capacity
The venue provides event space for weddings and other special celebrations. Situated in a newly rebuilt barn that combines country charm and elegance, The Ballroom at Windsor offers an ideal setting for your special day. This event space features a pub filled with old-world charm, indoor restrooms, and a first-floor prep kitchen for your chosen caterer to use. A private area on the second floor can be used by your wedding party to make those last-minute preparations before walking down the aisle. Here, you can find a fireplace, kitchenette, hair-and-makeup room, and a private bathroom, all designed to maximize your comfort as you get ready to say “I do.” A rustic wedding pavilion set in a peaceful tree-covered area offers views of the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal and an intimate setting for outdoor wedding ceremonies. After the ceremony, you can head to the historic brick farmhouse and barns, which provide a picturesque backdrop for your wedding photos. During your reception, your band or wedding DJ can utilize the ballroom’s stage, and you and your guests can enjoy dancing the night away.

This wedding venue was a complete blessing for our wedding day!
After some unforeseen issues at a previous venue, we reached out to The Ballroom at Windsor and thank God we did! They were able to accommodate us and fit us in to tour the venue so quickly after reaching out. Lynette and Jerry, husband and wife owners of the venue, were so welcoming and made us feel like family from the moment we stepped onto the farm. Throughout the planning process they offered great advice as well as listened and heard what we wanted out of our day. They took our vision and helped us to plan the most perfect day. The property is AMAZING and so beautiful, we got endless compliments from guests about how great it was. Lynette and Jerry went out of their way for us and our families on the day of. The farm itself has so much history and personal touches added all around, you can see how much the owners really love what they have and what they are doing. This venue perfectly combines a rustic and sophisticated feel and it was exactly what we were hoping for. The outside is so fun and rustic and charming, and you walk inside the ballroom and are stunned at the beauty! They have the best of both styles in this venue! I can't recommend this venue enough and we will continue to cherish and appreciate that we found this hidden gem!
