Worsell Manor is a historic wedding venue in Warwick, Maryland, that combines Southern charm with the elegance of a heritage manor house. Nestled amongst lush gardens, its rustic barn offers couples incredibly high ceilings and exposed wooden beams. Intimate in nature, Worsell Manor is the perfect choice for couples!
Facilities and Capacity
With approximately 1,000 acres, Worsell Manor accommodates up to 190 guests. Couples have the option of choosing from three separate event spaces to host their ceremony and/or reception. We've added a 100x20 ft custom patio featuring a large covered awning, as well as a brand new Heating and AC Cooling system for your and your guests' comfort!
Services Offered
Worsell Manor offers couples a number of services and amenities to streamline their special day. Options include indoor and outdoor settings, an in-house bar, and outside vendors.
Now featuring Avant-garde weddings (Sunday-Thursday).
Accommodation
Couples and their guests have the option of staying overnight in the on-site property known as The Manor. Said lodging offers six bedrooms, each of which features detailed colonial woodwork and original beams for a truly rustic country feel.
History
Granted in 1683, Worsell Manor’s name can be traced back to Warwick, England, which was home to the Heath family. Early owners of Worsell Manor in the United States, the family hosted lavish parties that were favored by former President George Washington. According to architectural historians, it is one of the last remaining early Georgian houses in Cecil County.

Worsell Manor is the perfect scenic location to host your wedding and/or ceremony. Located within 1.5 hours of numerous major mid-Atlantic cities, the venue is just 10 minutes from Middletown, Delaware.

One of a kind wedding venue!
The luxury of being able to rent the Manor House, in addition to the reception barn is something that was very much appreciated in our case. With bridal party attendants traveling from a variety of different states, it was such a special experience to have a whole weekend on the property to reunite and celebrate!!
Despite a tropical storm making its way up the coast on wedding weekend, our experience at Worsell Manor could not have been better! This venue is very adaptable and has many options to make your special event magical!! Our family sincerely appreciated the communication with Scott (the owner), and his eagerness to make our daughter's wedding day the BEST it could be on the Worsell Manor property! We highly recommend you checking this family owned and operated business out!!

Best venue ever
Just start by saying my guest are still raving about my wedding months later! This venue is absolutely breathtaking. Scott and Shaina were amazing, always answered in a timely fashion, and were so accommodating! Definitely think about renting the manor house for the weekend too! The manor house was stunning and your family or bridal party can stay with you! (Beds were so comfortable too!) my bridal party had a blast staying all weekend! I had the best most relaxing experience as the bride thanks to Scott and his team, my day was stress and carefree! Please do yourselves a favor and check this place out!!
