We were married at Worsell Manor 5 years ago and it was perfection!
Our wedding guests are still talking about our wedding! From the moment we toured until the last time we were at a concert, Worsell has felt like a second home. Scott made everything perfect for us and we’re immensely grateful. We spent the weekend in the main house with our family and wedding party and had the best time. It felt like I had been there 100 times before, it’s so warm and inviting! We all danced the night away in the historic barn that doesn’t need any decorations but the lights just turned on. The natural wood look made me feel like we were in a fairytale. Thank you for the talk of our family all these years later! -

The depth of beauty and history at Worsell Manor is in itself worthy of a visit! When you enter the property, you can immediately feel the magic that is possible for a wedding or special event! Once we toured the venue, we knew that we did not have to look any further for our daughter's wedding on Sept. 23, 2023.
The luxury of being able to rent the Manor House, in addition to the reception barn is something that was very much appreciated in our case. With bridal party attendants traveling from a variety of different states, it was such a special experience to have a whole weekend on the property to reunite and celebrate!!
Despite a tropical storm making its way up the coast on wedding weekend, our experience at Worsell Manor could not have been better! This venue is very adaptable and has many options to make your special event magical!! Our family sincerely appreciated the communication with Scott (the owner), and his eagerness to make our daughter's wedding day the BEST it could be on the Worsell Manor property! We highly recommend you checking this family owned and operated business out!! -

Just start by saying my guest are still raving about my wedding months later! This venue is absolutely breathtaking. Scott and Shaina were amazing, always answered in a timely fashion, and were so accommodating! Definitely think about renting the manor house for the weekend too! The manor house was stunning and your family or bridal party can stay with you! (Beds were so comfortable too!) my bridal party had a blast staying all weekend! I had the best most relaxing experience as the bride thanks to Scott and his team, my day was stress and carefree! Please do yourselves a favor and check this place out!! -

The literal best day
I know a lot of brides say it, but our day would not have been nearly as perfect as it was without Worsell Manor. Scott and Shania were communicative since day one and became like supportive family members through the entire process. Shania was always available for questions and concerns and Scott reached out personally the day before with an issue that I found very professional of him to do. Our day was perfectly organized, executed and I barely lifted a finger. The ability to stay on site also made this venue 10/10 for ease with vendors and the morning of. I could not recommend a venue more to future brides or a day of coordinator / event planner. Worsell, same time next year? Thank you for literally everything. -

Our wedding weekend at Worsell Manor was absolutely perfect. The venue contract was very clear and straightforward, and they included way more amenities than other venues offered like their bar packages, tables, and bathrooms. Scott was very responsive and answered our questions quickly. There was a small hiccup with the hot water heater, but again Scott was fast to act and made sure people were there within minutes to take care of the issue! We enjoyed our stay at the Manor House and our guests are still talking about how gorgeous our ceremony and reception was. We cannot recommend Worsell Manor enough, they paid attention to detail and they are experts in their field.Worsell Manor's reply:

Our Wessing was amazing!
We decided on Worsell Manor because we were looking for a classic space where we could also stay the weekend. The house itself is beautiful and the barn was perfect! The owner, Scott, was responsive and helpful. We hired Maegan, who works at Worsell, as our Day of Coordinator- best decision ever! Even when a storm rolled through between our ceremony and reception, she quickly adjusted and reorganized everything in the barn. I didn't have to worry about a thing!
One of the other reasons we chose Worsell were the bathrooms for the guests. Many of the other venues we looked at had 1 stall for men, 1 stall for women; Worsell had a separate building with 3 stalls each plus a family restroom. I know that's an odd reason to pick a venue but it's an important one :)
Overall, we had an excellent experience and an amazing wedding here; we highly recommend! -

Worsell feels like home now!
Being able to spend the weekend at our wedding venue was the most special experience I will never forget. My family and bridal party made it our home for the weekend and made the worries about traveling on the day of the wedding disappear! Scott and Shaina were the most helpful and made sure my day was exactly what I wanted. I look forward to visiting throughout the years and reminiscing on our wedding day :) -

Seamless experience with staff and gorgeous venue- highly recommend
I'm not sure where to begin to rave about Worsell manor and their staff. The owner responded to my emails within the day, and was always available to meet within 2 days on site to discuss any questions I had. The day of my wedding 2 staff members were present to ensure everything was seamless- their professionalism and hospitality were noticed. It is evident that the venue staff and owner's first priority is that their brides and grooms have a truly magical, and stress free day- my husband and I's day was nothing short of that. There are various gorgeous locations on the property to capture beautiful photos (your photographer will love the versatility!). I dreamt of having my wedding here, and it exceeded my expectations. I would re-live the day if I could, 10/10 recommend Worsell Manor. You feel more like a friend than you do a customer, and that level of genuine care on behalf of the owner truly makes a great impact! -

Worsell Manor was everything we could have wanted in a wedding venue and more. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception there which made everything so convenient. They have multiple spaces to hold your ceremony and the barn makes for the most magical reception! We had multiple guests say it was the best venue they’ve ever attended. Scott and Olivia also were the best people to work with for booking and running the wedding. They were quick to answer my crazy questions and made everything so stress free! I’d you want the perfect venue this is it! -

Worsell Manor Wedding
My daughter's wedding ceremony and reception were held at Worsell Manor last Saturday. It was absolutely perfect in every way. All of the guests raved about how beautiful the venue looked. The barn has a cozy, rustic yet elegant charm. The grounds are just beautiful, so many places for photo ops. It was wonderful having the use of the manor house to get ready the day of the wedding. Scott was very helpful and easy to work with throughout the process. He always got back to us very quickly anytime we had a question. Olivia, an independent contractor, was our " wedding day coordinator". Olivia was fabulous!! She kept everything organized and on schedule. She is very familiar with the venue, we could not have pulled off such a perfect day without her expertise! I highly recommend Worsell Manor for anyone looking for some rustic charm, beautiful grounds, history and just the perfect location for a wedding. Thank you to Scott, Olivia and all the wonderful staff who helped give Taylor and Kevin the wedding of their dreams! -

Beautiful venue

One of a kind
My husband and I had really struggled planning a wedding in a pandemic! Three weeks before our date, our original venue cancelled on us! Within that same week my husband was able to relocate us to Worsell Manor, which I believe was meant to be! Switching everything three weeks before your date seems impossible, but Scott, Olivia, Kate, and the rest of the staff were FANTASTIC and very professional! They comforted us with many different accommodations and truly made our experience and day very magical. We were really happy with the free range we had in decorating and planning. Mother of the Groom's perspective
As Mother of the Groom, I worked with the owner to complete the bar package. Scott was always very prompt to answer email or phone calls. I feel we got a great value for the money we paid. The day was perfect! The venue is beautiful! We were able to use the house the day of the wedding for everyone to get ready in which was a treat itself. There are so many beautiful photo opportunities here. You won't be disappointed. -

Best. Day. Ever
Worsell was such a great venue for our Fall barn wedding! I absolutely love the property. The manor house was a beautiful place to get ready and take pictures and the two barns were perfect for our ceremony and reception. Scott was really easy to work with and was quick to respond. He even dealt with us coming by multiple times to take another look before the big day. Everything went really smoothly and we had a great time. Highly recommend Worsell Manor! -

Worsell Manor was the perfect venue for our wedding! Scott Millar and the entire team were an absolute pleasure to work with. Responses were always timely and our communication was constant and open. They were easily accessible and extremely helpful. We got the venue for the entire weekend and felt very catered to. They were flexible with everything. The Barn, Manor House and entire farm are GORGEOUS!! Everyone was impressed by how beautiful the area was. The Barn and farm could have been from a Hallmark movie! This was fantastic quality at an affordable and reasonable cost. Scott and the team are professional, kind, helpful and very friendly! Would recommend Worsell to everyone and have already told many people about it! Truly a remarkable and hidden gem in Maryland! Can't say enough wonderful things about Worsell! -

Worsell Manor was the perfect venue for our September 14th wedding!
We rented the Manor House for the weekend so the bridal party could be on site for the entire weekend. It made the day more relaxed and less stressful. We held the ceremony on the beautiful grounds and our pictures were amazing! The barn was beautifully decorated and was the perfect backdrop for our reception.
From the beginning, Scott was wonderful to work with. He allowed us to visit the venue many times to plan the perfect celebration. He was available to answer any questions and was patient and accommodating through the entire process. The whole experience was wonderful and it was a day that we will never forget! Thank you Scott!! -

Not only are Worsell Manor, the Barn and the grounds beautiful, but we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue. The best part is that you get the whole weekend for your wedding - no sharing with other couples or other events. You get Friday to set up, Saturday for the event and Sunday for clean up. It made the whole process so much smoother. In addition, Scott and Tess were absolutely amazing to work with. Very responsive, extremely helpful and always there to help. We highly recommend this venue to other couples looking for a low-key, rustic and GORGEOUS venue for their wedding. -

We were Amazed the very first time we came to look at Worsell Manor. It’s an absolutely Beautiful place with a rustic look and a peaceful, antique feel. Scott Millar is the owner and a wonderful person to work with— he is very accommodating and very informative with any question asked about the property/ Estate. He always makes time and availability to meet with you as many times as you need to come look at the property. Scott was Fabulous in allowing us to bring my husbands 1956 Ford Pick up Truck to the property to use for pictures and to arrange for my husband to drive our daughter in with! As I said Scott is so accommodating and wonderful to allow dreams to come true!!!
Tess, the on-site wedding coordinator is Truly Amazing!! She is there for anything and everything you need and because of her experience, her store— Something Borrowed and amazing sense for detail, my daughter and new son in laws wedding was Beautiful!
Olivia, who is another of Scott’s right hand people to help in the days events was also Amazing, she was in the house and around the property, helping out quite a bit whenever needed and answered any questions we had.
Also to all those that help in setting up the tables and chairs for the reception and the benches for the ceremony, everything runs so swift and smoothly there is nothing to worry about.
Thank you so very very much to Worsell Manor for making Kourtney and Alex’s Wedding Absolutely Amazing, Beautiful and Something Never to be Forgotten!!!!

My husband and I knew we wanted to get married at Worsell Manor as soon as we drove up to the property. The grounds are unbelievably beautiful, from the historic brick manor house and the rose bushes scattered around the property, to the stunning restored barn with wood from floor to ceiling. Once we met Scott, we knew we had to have our wedding there. I cannot say enough good things about Scott. He was so patient and understanding with me (and my crazy mother) throughout the entire year we had of planning. He was always available to answer any and all questions we had and allowed us to come visit the property what seemed like a million times before the big day so I could visualize all of my ideas in person. It was so relaxing being able to get ready in the manor house on the morning of our wedding, as well as coming in the day before to decorate in the barn and on the grounds. We didn't have to worry about finding a restaurant for our rehearsal dinner; we had it right in the granary barn on the property! Our entire experience with Scott and Worsell Manor was unbelievably amazing and one I will never forget. I know our guests will be talking about our wedding for years to come! Thank you, Scott, for everything!! -

The perfect venue
From the moment I first toured Worsell Manor we were given nothing but the best service from Scott Millar. The venue was everything we dreamed of, and Scott was unbelievably accommodating. The pricing was fair, especially since it includes access to the venue and the whole property for Fri-Sat-Sun, which was such a huge bonus to allow for set up and break down of decor for both the ceremony AND reception. The entire venue is gorgeous, with beautiful gardens all over the property. The main barn is spectacular, the lighting just adds to the ambiance. I loved that there was a backup barn option for inclement weather (which we thankfully didn't need). The whole experience was wonderful, and we couldn't have picked a better location for our wedding. Worsell Manor isn't just a wedding factory, so they care about your day and go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect for you -

I have not one complaint about Worsell Manor. I LOVED EVERYTHING!! Working with Scott was a pleasure ~ he is helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure the perfect day. The best part was the ability to rent the venue for the weekend so our wedding party could stayed with us in the manor. We hosted the rehearsal dinner there, hair and make-up came to us the day of the wedding and we had brunch Sunday before cleaning up and heading home. The grounds are beautiful, the barn turned out perfect and our dream wedding came to life. -

Finding Worsell Manor was a godsend and we couldn't be happier with the decision to have our wedding there. This venue—the manor house, the grounds, the barn—it's all simply gorgeous and was the perfect backdrop to our day. We even had to move our ceremony indoors due to rain and, to be at a venue where the bride doesn't care whether she gets married indoors or out—because it's all beautiful—is saying something.
Scott was a dream to work with—incredibly accommodating and supportive—and he is working tirelessly to transform Worsell Manor into everything brides and grooms could possibly be looking for. He genuinely has his clients in mind as he makes changes at the venue and the upgrades he added in time for our day made all the difference! The process was easy and the day was perfect! -

He was always available when called upon as well as accomadating to our personal needs. His suggestions were very helpful and personally made himself available, even though he has an assistant on hand for any needs ! My vendors were empressed with how accomadating Scott is! A great experience staying the weekend in the manor house and having the wedding reception in the barn. From cocktail hour, to the reception dinner, to the cigar bar, the end to end result was simply perfection.

My husband and I got married at Worsell Manor in August 2022. Our wedding was beautiful and so much fun! It is a beautiful spot to get married with the historic house and barn all in the same spot. We chose to have our ceremony behind the house and had our reception in the barn. Shaina was our coordinator, and she was super helpful through the whole wedding planning process - she was super quick to respond on questions I had and very easy to work with! She knew the venue and whole property very well and had answers to all my questions. I would definitely recommend Worsell Manor & their team for anyone looking for a wedding venue :) -
