Everyone always tells you that wedding cakes are expensive and are never worth it, but Babycakes definitely proved this theory wrong. For one, they were extremely reasonably priced, and omg, the cakes were delicious! We opted for a two tier main cake, and two 1/4 sheet cakes. Each cake had a different flavor, including the two tiers, and that alone caused a delighted and excited frenzy of "tasting all of the cakes" at our wedding! We worked with Tania, and she was so sweet and personable. She made the cake ordering experience so easy for us. We went with a simple design for our two tier, but the Babycakes team were able to arrange the flowers we provided. I would definitely recommend, and we will be repeat customers!

Baby Cakes did a amazing job! They really worked with my mom whom set up the entire desert table and made sure it looked exactly how she wanted it. The cake is the best cake I’ve ever had and my guests took home cupcakes home and ate them even after someone sat on them by accident. We got praise by all our guest by how great they tasted! We had a cake tasting that we were able to schedule at a convenient time for us. It included all of their cake flavors, all of which tasted amazing. We would highly recommend their blood orange and tres leches flavors.

Tania followed up with our order via email the same day and then again a couple weeks before our wedding to confirm. Everything was very straight forward and easy to understand.
My mother is a florist so we planned on doing the flowers ourselves. But Babycakes did the rest of the decorations including a ribbon edge and patterns in the icing.

We had a great experience working with Babycakes for our wedding! My husband and I met at Babycakes in Hillcrest 8 years ago at a happy hour, so it was an easy choice to have them provide the cutting cake and cupcakes for our wedding. The cake tasting was really fun (9 different flavors), and we went with the blood orange for the cutting cake and one of the cupcake flavors. We also chose strawberry, red velvet, black bottom, and marble cupcake flavors. And they even offer vegan cupcakes now! The guests must have enjoyed them because there were no cupcakes left at the end of the night! The cake and cupcakes were beautiful and delicious, they were professional and responsive to emails, and overall just great to work with. I highly recommend them for any special event!
