April made our wedding cake. She took my thoughts and dreams of my wedding cake and turned them into something absolutely stunning!!! I trusted her with my vision and she made us a cake that even I couldn’t dream of!!! She is in every sense of the word ... a talented baker and cake artist. She also made a grooms cake which i had no idea ... she brought out both cakes to perfection and captured the Halloween theme and the grooms favorite past time.... Golf.

April is truly amazing! She is super responsive and willing to work with any ideas/budgets you may have! We had signifcantly fewer guests than we originally intended and April helped us come up with a reasonable plan to accommodate those changes. She created our 3-tier almond cake and our UVa vs VT rivalry chocolate “grooms” cake - we received so many comments about both our delicious cakes! Highly recommend!!

I could not have been more pleased with our wedding cakes! We wanted unique and that's excactly what we got. Not only were the cakes incredible, but delicious! So many people can do stuff with fondant but it tastes awful... we got the fondant look with buttercream icing so we had the best of both worlds! We've already recommended B&B to other people and will continue to use them for all of our future special dates! Please check out her website! The cake that was contracted was wrong, yes it was very pretty just did not follow the instructions.
There were to be decorations on all four sides but only the front and back had designs. I had requested NO flowers that was accomplished. I was lead to believe that the scroll work would be done by hand, but instead they were fondant cut-outs. The cake arrived well on time, and the flavor (chocolate-raspberry) was great. After speaking to the owner April we decided that since I had paid nearly $400 for this cak to make amends I would give it one more try for a surprise cake for my husband. I would still recommend her I think there was just a break down in communication, which was by email only after our first meeting.
