My only regret is that my husband and I currently live in Oregon and were unable to try the samples, so we had to go off the reviews of one of his friends in Virginia, whose opinion we 100% trust. He facetimed us the whole time he was trying them and we knew based off the faces and noises he made that no matter what flavors we decided on, it was going to be gold.

We ended up doing a three tier cake: bottom tier was chocolate (amazing, and not overly sweet), middle tier was cookies and cream (my personally favorite), and we went with a simple white and strawberry filling for the top layer. We had tons of compliments on the cake. Just writing this review at 10am makes my mouth water lol.

When we did our tasting, we had chosen 3 different vendors - something everyone told us was a mistake as we would have to many choices and it would be hard to narrow down. And while each and every bakery was delicious - at the end of the day, there simply was no contest - we had 7 people at the tasting with us - and EVERY SINGLE PERSON hands down selected Crystal as the best of the best. Her attention to detail, her willingness to make the design my daughter wanted work for us within our budget, and the amazing moist, delicious, and beautiful cake she created to fit our vision - every step was beyond perfect. The compliments we received throughout the reception are only a tiny testament to the truly wonderful experience we had working with Crystal. I simply cannot recommend highly enough, it was pure joy!

Working with Crystal was an absolute pleasure! She was very flexible and easy to work with when our plans changed with COVID. Her cake was absolutely beautiful and even more delicious!

Crystal did a fabulous job with our wedding cake. Not only did it look amazing but it was delicious! I wanted a simple cake with white butter cream frosting and real fresh flowers and she delivered exactly what we wanted. Crystal is truly a talented baker and I would highly recommend her for any event that you need an outstanding cake for!

My cake was ABSOLUTELY the best part of my wedding! A lot of things went wrong that day, but the cake was PERFECT! I was so amazed how every single detail was exactly the way I wanted!!! And it was sooooo delicious! I am incredibly happy and honored that Crystal was willing to make my cake (especially on only 2 weeks' notice)! My guests are still raving about it one month later!

Crystal made our incredibly elegant and tasty wedding cake! We'd researched and tasted at several bakeries and we had the best experience tasting with Crystal. Not only did she make us several different cakes to try, she also made us a Bailey’s Irish cream frosting that was absolutely amazing and just what we wanted! I showed her the designs from some Pinterest cakes that I liked, and she said she could craft something that was very similar but also unique to our wedding and theme. We ended up going with an almond cake with Baily's Irish cream buttercream frosting for our guests and a chocolate cake with the same frosting for our top tier (I can't wait to eat that on our 1st Anniversary!!) I was so impressed with Crystal's level of professionalism and her artistic designs. Her invoice was certainly the most pretty of all of our invoices as it had her cake sketch included on it - smile! On the day of the wedding, she delivered the cake at the venue two hours in advance of the wedding, and all of the events staff remarked how helpful she was in getting the cake table and display just perfect. She even worked with our floral designer to make sure the table had some beautiful accents that went with the cake stand, which she supplied and looked amazing. The guests at my wedding remarked that the cake was one of the most delicious cakes they’ve ever had and there was proof of that as it got eaten almost all gone!! I would love to use Crystal again for any of my major life events that require sweets! I would highly recommend her as her prices are extremely reasonable and her designs are of the upmost exquisite perfection! Thank you Crystal for helping to make our wedding day so beautiful!

Crystal was AWESOME. We had a couple cake tastings before stumbling across Cakes by Crystal and could not be happier with our decision. She was very down to earth and created exactly what we wanted. She even delivered all the way to Corolla, NC, which we truly appreciated and the cake looked and tasted just like we wanted and expected. I do not have enough wonderful things to say about our experience with Cakes by Crystal. I look forward to being in contact with her again some time for specialty cakes! :)

We have used Crystal for her amazing tasting and beautiful cakes and cupcakes for many years. She has always provided a top-notch quality product that leaves everyone asking, "who made this cake?" and our wedding cake and cupcakes were no exception. Crystal worked with us to create 6 unique cupcake flavors and a traditional cutting cake for our day. She delivered the beautiful cake and cupcakes herself, traveling from Chesapeake, Va to New Kent, Va on the day of a hurricane! My husband and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a memorable, tasty cake for ANY occasion!

Crystal is an amazing cake maker! I used her for my wedding as well as a 30th birthday cake for my husband. Her cakes are super delicious and look just as great. I can assure you that she will always be on time, professional and meet your expectations above and beyond. She is reasonably priced for the amazing work that she delivers! I highly recommend her!
