Working with Justine and the Avalinda team was an absolute dream. I first discovered Justine through social media—so many of the weddings I kept saving and admiring were consistently planned by Avalinda. I had a strong feeling our styles and sensibilities would align, and after just one phone call, I knew I had to work with her. I feel incredibly fortunate that she was available to collaborate with us.

While Avalinda’s formal planning window begins three months before the wedding, Justine is a consummate professional and was always generous with her time throughout the year—answering questions, offering thoughtful advice, and helping guide decisions well before the official planning period began. She is a treasure trove of incredible contacts and impeccable taste, and I trusted her implicitly.

I am an overly organized person, so I deeply appreciated the level of structure, precision, and care that Avalinda brings. No stone unturned, no detail overlooked. Once we entered the three-month planning window, we quickly fell into an easy, productive cadence of communication. Justine managed our many ideas, questions, and detailed visions seamlessly—and the spreadsheets alone made me swoon.

Justine is clearly a seasoned veteran. She knows how to work with vendors, how to anticipate issues before they arise, and how to raise thoughtful considerations we might not have otherwise thought of. As we got closer to the wedding, a few inevitable stressors popped up, and Justine and her team handled everything with calm clarity—especially when navigating tricky vendor conversations and helping us understand what was truly an overcharge versus standard practice. I cannot overstate how valuable that guidance was.

I’ve seen other brides refer to working with Justine as “bridal therapy,” and I can confidently say it’s true. She keeps you grounded, rational, and supported—without ever diminishing your vision.

The wedding weekend itself was flawless. We had two incredible coordinators with us who supported our rehearsal at the welcome event and were fully on-site for the wedding day. They arrived before we did for bridal prep, handled every moving part behind the scenes, and allowed us to do exactly what you hope to do on your wedding day: enjoy it. There were a few venue-related hiccups that we only learned about later because the team handled everything so seamlessly.

They even thought through details like loading rental items into our car and parking it appropriately so we wouldn’t incur overnight fees—details we never would have considered, but that made a meaningful difference. They also provided clear, thoughtful guidance around tipping and end-of-night logistics.

I would get married again just to work with Justine and the Avalinda team (and to marry Chris all over again). Our day was truly magical, and we owe so much of that to their care, expertise, and calm presence. I cannot recommend Avalinda highly enough.

Avalinda was the best decision we made for our wedding. Justine, our wedding planner, was truly incredible from start to finish. She listened carefully to our vision and brought it to life with care, creativity, and precision. Her calm and thoughtful presence made the entire planning process not only smooth but genuinely enjoyable. On the big day, coordinators Christina and Laura were amazing. JUSTINE IS THE BEST! Work with her- you won't regret it. She was our planner for a 130 person wedding at Brooklyn Grange Sunset Park. We were so happy to find a planner/coordinator who had a 3 month package, and I really think it was the best value we found, especially for someone who got our aesthetic vision. Three months was just the right amount of time to help us make sure we had everything in place and keep those last months calm and sane. Justine has a calm, kind demeanor and immediately put as at ease. It felt like she was really here to make sure the wedding looked and felt like we wanted it- when we needed her advice she would share it, but she was there to help execute our vision, and ready to roll up her sleeves and do whatever was needed. She was a very clear communicator, without overdoing it, and raised some details we never would have thought of. By the time the big day came, we felt so confident everything was ready to go. We liked Justine so much that we were honestly a bit sad we didn't get to see her more during the big day- but this is evidence of why she is SO good at her job. She made herself practically invisible, making sure everything was running smoothly behind the scenes and allowing us to be present and enjoy our day. We realized later how right she was about certain things we hadn't been sure about, like building in enough alone-time with just the two of us. And when we did see her, she had such a relaxed and sweet presence! We couldn't be more happy we chose to work with Avalinda.

We hosted a floating style reception, meaning dinner was served as passed apps, small plates, and at food stations, rather than a seated dinner. We interviewed several wedding coordinators, and Justine was the most enthusiastic about this style of reception. She'd done it before and she loved it, and she made us feel so confident and comfortable about this style. She understood the vision right away, and I'm so grateful for her partnership on our event! We got so much amazing feedback from our family and friends and the evening's success had so much to do with Justine's leadership and coordination. Could not have done it without her -- this is not an exaggeration! Thank you so much, Justine!

Throughout the entire process, from the moment we first interviewed, right up the day of our wedding, Justine was a calming, supportive, and practical voice of encouragement. From connecting with vendors, to aiding in communication with the venue, to coordinating the run of show on the Big Day, Justine and her team were there for us so that we were able to focus on the joyful part of the process. Even when the weather turned against us, and within the very last week we realized that our partially outdoor ceremony would need to be moved fully indoors because of a tropical depression, Justine still had a plan. We can say with full honesty that had it not been for Justine, and her wisdom from experience, we would not have been able to give our guests such a spectacular party, and ourselves such lasting, happy memories.

After interviewing a few coordinators, I knew the moment that I spoke with Justine that she and her team were the perfect fit for our wedding. Justine is incredibly talented, organized, communicative, and extremely kind. Justine truly loves weddings. We hired Justine for wedding coordination services and it was the best money that we spent. She truly helped us throughout the wedding planning process and was incredible the day of. Justine took over communication with all the vendors we hired about 3+ months in advance of our wedding and kept us on track. In addition, she gave us some vendor suggestions, which were incredible as well. With Justine's help, I truly felt at ease throughout the planning process and I knew that I had nothing to worry about the day of our wedding, because Justine and her team were on it. Justine is just wonderful! She is kind, smart, funny and super organized! She is also incredible savvy and has a wide network of industry professionals who she trusts and who trust her. Justine and her team were so incredibly amazing throughout the entire process. She was super organized in working with us to pull everything together for our wedding day, and flawlessly handled communication with all of our vendors. During our venue walkthrough, she asked so many questions that we would have never even considered.
