We hosted a floating style reception, meaning dinner was served as passed apps, small plates, and at food stations, rather than a seated dinner. We interviewed several wedding coordinators, and Justine was the most enthusiastic about this style of reception. She'd done it before and she loved it, and she made us feel so confident and comfortable about this style. She understood the vision right away, and I'm so grateful for her partnership on our event! We got so much amazing feedback from our family and friends and the evening's success had so much to do with Justine's leadership and coordination. Could not have done it without her -- this is not an exaggeration! Thank you so much, Justine! -

We cannot give enough thanks and praise to Justine and the team from Avalinda for their amazing job as the planners for our wedding. Throughout the entire process, from the moment we first interviewed, right up the day of our wedding, Justine was a calming, supportive, and practical voice of encouragement. She is kind, thoughtful, and truly dedicated to providing her clients with the wedding they imagine. She provided us with all the tools we would need to plan a perfect day, with a meticulous attention to detail that truly helped us visualize from start to finish, and execute our dream.
From connecting with vendors, to aiding in communication with the venue, to coordinating the run of show on the Big Day, Justine and her team were there for us so that we were able to focus on the joyful part of the process. Even when the weather turned against us, and within the very last week we realized that our partially outdoor ceremony would need to be moved fully indoors because of a tropical depression, Justine still had a plan. We can say with full honesty that had it not been for Justine, and her wisdom from experience, we would not have been able to give our guests such a spectacular party, and ourselves such lasting, happy memories.

Justine is the QUEEN.
JUSTINE IS THE BEST! Work with her- you won't regret it. She was our planner for a 130 person wedding at Brooklyn Grange Sunset Park. We were so happy to find a planner/coordinator who had a 3 month package, and I really think it was the best value we found, especially for someone who got our aesthetic vision. Three months was just the right amount of time to help us make sure we had everything in place and keep those last months calm and sane. Justine has a calm, kind demeanor and immediately put as at ease. It felt like she was really here to make sure the wedding looked and felt like we wanted it- when we needed her advice she would share it, but she was there to help execute our vision, and ready to roll up her sleeves and do whatever was needed. She was a very clear communicator, without overdoing it, and raised some details we never would have thought of. By the time the big day came, we felt so confident everything was ready to go. We liked Justine so much that we were honestly a bit sad we didn't get to see her more during the big day- but this is evidence of why she is SO good at her job. She made herself practically invisible, making sure everything was running smoothly behind the scenes and allowing us to be present and enjoy our day. We realized later how right she was about certain things we hadn't been sure about, like building in enough alone-time with just the two of us. And when we did see her, she had such a relaxed and sweet presence! We couldn't be more happy we chose to work with Avalinda. -

After interviewing a few coordinators, I knew the moment that I spoke with Justine that she and her team were the perfect fit for our wedding. Justine is incredibly talented, organized, communicative, and extremely kind. Justine truly loves weddings. We hired Justine for wedding coordination services and it was the best money that we spent. She truly helped us throughout the wedding planning process and was incredible the day of. Justine took over communication with all the vendors we hired about 3+ months in advance of our wedding and kept us on track. In addition, she gave us some vendor suggestions, which were incredible as well. With Justine's help, I truly felt at ease throughout the planning process and I knew that I had nothing to worry about the day of our wedding, because Justine and her team were on it. Working with Avalinda is the best decision you can make! 100% recommend! -

Justine and the Avalinda team were INCREDIBLE!! Having Avalinda as our day-of-coordinator was the BEST decision we could've ever made! Justine helped us a few months out from the wedding and gave her expert advice in anything that we needed as well as created a wedding plan. Justine was incredible with all the details that is so easy to forget - i really don't know how i could've done it without her! She really helps you remain calm especially on the days leading up to your wedding. On the day of the wedding day, everything ran so seamlessly - her team was INCREDIBLE & our family & friends had all good things to say! Justine is an absolute lifesaver! As someone that considers themselves a pretty operational person, I think that one of the very best decisions that my husband and I made early on in the planning process was to invest in Justine and her experience. There are simply so many details to track, and to have Justine to bounce ideas off of, help organize timely decisions, and feel like she was with us every step of the way was the only way that we could have executed our day worry-free. She is professional, timely, friendly, practical, and an out-of-the-box thinker. Because of her and her team, we were able to coast through the joyous chaos that is wedding week, and I really cannot stress enough that while a wedding coordinator is a smart investment, investing in Justine herself is best decision you can make. -

Justine and the Avalinda team were crucial to our day going as perfectly as it did. Justine prepared an impeccable timeline for all our vendors to follow. I can't believe how smoothly everything went. Because of Justine's preparedness, we were able to take in the excitement of the day without any stress. Everything went exactly as planned which I assumed wasn't possible on a wedding day but it really did! Justine and her team accounted for things I never could have imagined. They have such a calming yet assertive and efficient energy. It's such an important combo and we could not have done it without the Avalinda team. My now husband and I both agree that of all the wedding funds spent, Avalinda was most valuable. 100% recommend. -

I am so beyond grateful to Justine and all of her help during the planning of our wedding. We had a lot of moving parts to our day, and she was able to help us work out every little detail so when the wedding came around, the day was PERFECT. She is like a friend/therapist/event planner all wrapped up in one. She makes herself available to chat whenever you need, and offers honest and valuable insight that help you make important decisions while planning. Her approach is so personalized - we had a lot of unique aspects to our day (including a group bike ride), and she was able to use her personal connections to help make sure our guests were safe and taken care of, and that everything ran smoothly. I feel so lucky to have found her, and I cannot imagine what my wedding day would have been like without her help. In addition, her staff members the day of our wedding were incredibly thoughtful and helpful, I felt so taken care of by the whole team. My wedding ended up being the absolute best day of my life, and I owe so much of that to Justine - I didn't have to worry about a thing when the day rolled around, I was able to enjoy and and truly savor every moment. Thank you so much, for everything!! -

Helped us through our pandemic wedding!
Justine did an amazing job as our wedding planner. She was patient and understanding during our several wedding date changes (thanks covid). She clearly communicated with our vendors throughout the entire process. She is also very kind and calm and helped maintain that calmness throughout the planning process. Justine is the best! We had to work through re-planning our wedding for our postponed date, and she was incredibly patient and helpful in coordinating all the nitty gritty details with each of our wedding vendors up until the day of the wedding. She understood the importance of Covid-19 precautions and took all measures to make our wedding as safe as possible. She also took care of the day-of planning at our venue and it was so nice not having to worry about anything and being able to enjoy our wedding day to the fullest!Avalinda's reply:
