We used Ashley for our engagement shoot and our wedding in Hawaii - both of which were plagued with cloudy skies and some rain issues. Despite that Ashley delivered beautiful, bright, and airy photos with tons of movement. Personally she has warm, bubbly personality that made shooting with her very enjoyable and easy. She gives direction but is also open to any special shots you want. I would highly recommend her for any weddings or special shoots. One thing to note is that for long events she does shoot some in black and white (which were also stunning), especially at night, so call out if there are any important shots later in the night that you really want in color.

We are actually longtime photographer friends with Ashley, talking business and shop through the years from across the ocean. A wedding brought us over to Oahu and we reached out to her for photos while we were there. She did a mini-session with us and then we hopped over to Dukes for dinner and drinks. It could not have been more easy going and fun (and as photographers, we were so impressed with what she was able to make happen in a teensy weensy amount of time). We have her photos framed in our house to this day!

I was really concerned since I was planning a destination wedding, but she took all my worries away! I'm not the most photogenic person, but she was not only able to make me feel comfortable while she was taking our photos for the wedding, but also have a lot of fun! They all turned out so great! During a very stressful hunt for a photographer for our wedding, I stumbled across Ashley's photos and blog. I instantly fell in love and knew that I had to contact her for a possibility of shooting our wedding. Thinking it would be very expensive and a long shot based on her living 4 hours away, Ashley quickly responded without hesitation and provided information and flexibility more than what I could have asked for. We immediately connected through email and started the planning. Ashley's excitement and passion for what she does is amazing and was shown instantly, even through email.

Ashley was awesome when it came to the flexibility that was needed for a July 4th wedding, as well as helping out in any aspect that was needed. She was friendly, fun, and had a way to put everyone on the other side of her camera, at ease. The turnaround time for the pictures was quicker than expected, and within the timeframe that was initially communicated. As soon as we saw the pictures, we immediately fell in love and forwarded to our family.
