We received a prompt response from his team in less than 24 hours. The whole booking process went very smoothly. On our special day, Scott arrived at the beach before we did and was ready to get started. He was very friendly and made us feel comfortable from the beginning. He asked questions about our desired poses and had an incredible eye for detail. He would let me know if a hair was out of place or if our clothing needed adjusting. He has a great sense of humor and the whole process was like hanging out with a friend on the beach. Shortly after the event, he sent a few preview photos so that we would have something we could share with others. In around 3 days, we had a video montage, which was excellent and in less than a week, we had access to all of our photos! We absolutely LOVE them! He captured our special day in a beautiful way. Scott came as a recommendation from my wedding planner, and it would be doing Scott (and other brides) a disservice not referring him onto others. Scott was absolutely amazing to work with. I was nervous about the wedding photo process, but Scott made it stress-free, easy and more importantly fun! He made all my wedding guests feel comfortable with his great personality throughout the family photos and group shots. His attention to detail was on point. He was always being mindful of how my dress and train were poistioned and gave excellent direction. When my husband and I went to do our couple photos, Scott made this a very special part of our day. It was enjoyable to break away from our guests and do some romantic photos - which weren’t awkward and very painless. Before the wedding, I sent Scott some photos from his website of different photo styles/posing I wanted to make sure he captured, and he made sure to recreate all my requests. We received a video slideshow of our images in a little over a week, and within 3 weeks had all our photos. The best part, Scott does minimal photoshop styling, I am so happy my photos have such a classic and timeless look to them. I first heard about Scott through friends of ours that got marries in Maui a couple of years ago. He shot their wedding and I was in love with his photos and style. I can tell you that we were absolutely not disappointed. Scott is fantastic and he has the most awesome, personable demeanor! He makes you feel like your literally friends and that you should invite him for dinner! I was a bit worried about being photographed by a professional as I can appear a bit awkward and sometimes feel like I don't take direction well. Scott made us feel completely comfortable and relaxed... Once he got started I don't think I even thought twice about it. His energy is very fluid and his work is amazing. I would highly recommend him and his team! His wife Kimi was great at assisting and making sure all the fine details were on point. Everything from the train of my dress to the loose strands of hair blowing in my face, to adjusting my necklace over and over. He has a genuine heart and passion for capturing those life-changing moments that slip by blurry in the intensity of your wedding day, and years of experience for flawless execution.

I researched Maui wedding photographers til my eyes bled (ahh the wonders of the internet now) and there was nothing that came close, no sappy sentimentality here, only pure integrity and crystalline memories and playfulness and humour too! All photos on USB ready for printing/sharing and a very moving unexpected photo/video montage slideshow. My only regret is that we didn't hire him for longer. He is a true gem.
