Asa Water Mansion is a sophisticated wedding venue located in Milbury, Massachusetts. The venue is a great choice for couples seeking to host a celebration in a refined space of great beauty and historic nature. A large setting that can accommodate sizable parties, guests will be impressed by its many rooms whose original fixtures will transport them back in time. As the town of Milbury is located in close proximity to Boston, it benefits from the city’s international airport and many accommodation options.

Facilities and Capacity

Arriving at Asa Waters Mansion guests are greeted by a sight of pure New-England elegance. The house’s grand white frame greets them, surrounded by stunning, well-kept gardens. The mansion can welcome celebrations of 72 for an indoor seated event and up to 200 for an outdoor covered event. A ceremony can be arranged under the boughs of a stately tree with guests arranged on the lawn. Alternatively, the portico of the house is both a grand stage upon which to exchange vows and a stunning backdrop for a wedding photoshoot. Inside, the mansion’s salon welcomes reception and ceremonies in style. Light streams in through large windows, casting a room defined by original fixtures and period-appropriate decor in relief. Receptions can also be held in the gardens under our newly installed tent for a dinner amongst the flowers. Stepping back in time, the wedding party can make use of the private Bridal Suite to get ready. Furniture rental, including tables and chairs, is included with the venue. There is parking available on-site.

Wonderful Summer Wedding

They were wonderful for our summer wedding. The tent and outdoor space had a lot of space for our guest. Inside the mansion was beautiful as well. The coordinator was wonderful to work with - professional, organized, and kind.

Extravagant place for your Wedding

Asa Waters is an amazing place to have your wedding! The history and natural beauty speaks for itself. Our wedding was all outside; we lucked out with amazing weather and the tent was plenty large enough for our guests. The yard games were a bonus! The best part was the price and everything that is included within that price, you will not find elsewhere, not to mention how local it was for us. Kristen is extremely professional and helpful and is perfect within her role. Answers all questions in a timely manner and always there to help, organize, and prepare you for your big day. Our guests were also just as impressed with the venue as we were and loved how the ceremony and reception were all on location. Our guests raved about this venue just as much as we did! I would not have changed a single thing! Go with this venue, you will not regret it!

Asa Waters Mansion was a perfect location for my niece’s bridal shower.

We held a bridal shower for my niece at the
Asa Waters Mansion last spring. It was a beautiful venue for the event and everyone commented on how lovely the mansion is. Kristen was very helpful through the planning stage and on the day of the event.

Great place for a bridal shower

The Asa Waters is a great place to have an event. We held a bridal shower for about 40 people and it was perfect for this size in the main ballroom. Kristin Livoti was very helpful and always prompt in responding to any questions we had. We used one of the recommended caters and the food was wonderful.

Beautiful Historic Mansion with Professionalism

A Beautiful Historic Mansion we had the pleasure to have our wedding reception at. The Director Kristen Livoti was fantastic to work with. She also baked a Beautiful cake for the festivities. I can't say enough about how great the event turned out and everyone who attended was impressed.

a beautiful spot!

We had our rehearsal dinner & Chinese Tea Ceremony at Asa Waters this past spring. We struggled for awhile to find a venue that would safely seat all of our guests during COVID while allowing us the flexibility to bring our own decorations & food. We found that restaurants were too crowded and most venues had strict policies about a specific caterer you could use. Kristen worked with us the entire time to make the process as stress-free as possible. She was quick to answer emails and patient during multiple phone calls to plan the event around the ever-changing COVID guidelines. The night of the event was perfect - Kristen helped make sure every detail was in place, worked with our caterer to sort out the schedule (I barely even talked to them, Kristen handled everything), and the venue itself was a beautiful setting. We had about 30 people indoors and everyone had a great time. The indoor space is perfect for small - moderate sized events and Kristen works so hard to make the event perfect for you, even making additional suggestions for things you may not have thought of. We also felt the pricing was very affordable for such a gem of a location. Overall highly recommend!

An amazing, hidden, gem

What can we say about Kristen, in short she is incredible! We were a covid-couple, who had to postpone our wedding twice, and find a new venue. We booked with Kristen in late 2020, and she worked with us every step of the way. She helped us rethink how to make sure all the religious aspects that were important to us could still happen according to Covid guidelines. Then, when restrictions were lifted, she helped us rethink them again! She also thought about the little things. Kristen knew that Arielle and I wanted to make sure we didn’t see each other until first looks, and she also knew that we were getting married on the second longest day of the year, so it was going to be hot. Kristen recommended that I get ready on the first floor so I could be in central air and avoid overheating while getting ready.
Additionally, she quickly replied to all our emails, sometimes in less than 12 hours. She worked with our vendors to make sure everything went smoothly. Kristen also got a sense of who we were as a couple, and each of our individual needs and helped each of us stay calm and collected when stress levels rose. Not only did she do all of this, she even made our wedding cake! WHICH WAS DELICIOUS! We cannot speak highly enough of Kristen and all that she does!

The venue itself was also gorgeous! Asa Waters, in the wake of Covid, decided to rent an outdoor tent with a stone floor to hold outdoor weddings. The tent was spacious, gorgeous, and elegant. It provided ample space for a large dance floor without feeling too crowded or empty. We also held some of our events indoors, and the ceremony and reception outdoors, which provided our guests with the opportunity to see the different beautiful and historic spaces of the property. In short, Kristen is AMAZING, Asa Waters is BEAUTIFUL, and YOU WILL HAVE A GORGEOUS WEDDING AT THE VENUE!
