Where do I even begin to put into words how grateful I am that a true artist such as Sam exists? Even 6 months after my wedding, as I look through every image from our big day, I am in awe of his artistry and talent. If you are looking for the real deal, look no further than Sam Chinigo! As a young aspiring wedding photographer in my early 20’s, I followed Sam’s work for inspiration. Back then I knew he was special, as he stood out from the rest with his unparalleled uniqueness in perspective and creativity. At that time, I told myself if the day ever came that I had the opportunity to walk down the aisle, I knew he would be the photographer for the job. When my now husband proposed 14 years later, I immediately knew who to call. Sam is not only great behind the lens, but he has an amazing easy-going personality. His humor and wit will put any nervous bride at ease. I honestly had so much fun with the shoot prior to the ceremony, I almost forgot I was getting married. When it came to the finished product, Sam crushed it! Every emotion was meticulously captured with such thought, allowing us to relive every moment as if it were unfolding right in front of us. The only challenge I have now is that we need a larger house with more wall space because we can’t possibly narrow down all of our favorites from the day. This day and age, it can be difficult to discern who is a truly a capable photographer since photoshop can fix many flaws. Rest assured, Sam has the utmost raw genuine talent in his field and you will not find a more passionate artist.

Where do we even begin?! We first found Sam at the beginning of our wedding planning and from day one he was resourceful, helpful and beyond nice. Our wedding was rescheduled multiple times and then ultimately canceled due to the pandemic - yet Sam was understanding throughout the entire chaotic process. We knew we still wanted Sam to capture our special moment, even though it was not going to be how we originally imagined it. It ended up being 10x better than we imagined. Sam recommended having a post wedding photoshoot and WOW!!! The location he found for us was spectacular. Upon meeting Sam we were instantly comfortable, even my husband who usually avoids the camera at all costs, was following Sams lead blindly. His talent is beyond words. This entire experience is one we will cherish for years to come. We spent the entirety of the session, laughing and genuinely enjoying ourselves. We left the session having complete faith that these photos will be what we dreamt of and more. He was able to capture our love in each photo. We are already looking forward to the next event that Sam can capture. We HIGHLY recommend Sam, his talents and his extremely charismatic personality.

Put simply, Sam is the best. From the moment we first met with Sam in November 2019, he made us feel at ease. He is very friendly and we felt that he was able to make us forget we were even doing a photo shoot as we took our engagement photos. On our wedding day, Sam was very efficient and quick but not in a pushy way that could have made us, our wedding party, or guests feel uncomfortable or in the way. Sam also is very good at balancing the shots he wants to make sure he gets or thinks of while also listening to and executing our thoughts and ideas as well. He captured our whole day beautifully and we have wasted no time decorating our new home in his photos. If you are considering anyone else for your wedding photos, please don't. Go with Sam. He captures memories in such beautiful ways, and we know we will treasure his images for years to come. Sam was incredibly easy to work with. In general, his work is amazing. However, what we really found impressive is Sam's ability to jump into any given scenario, work with multiple personality types and how he was able to facilitate so many people in an effort to keep things moving in time to capture the best shots. We chose Sam because multiple family members had used him as their wedding photographer with great results. Sam was very careful to make sure that he knew exactly what we wanted and what areas of the day that we wanted to focus the most on. He was able to capture the whole day perfectly without us even knowing that he was there most of the time. He photographed each guest having an amazing time without having to "stage" photos and interrupt conversations or dancing.
