I had the pleasure of working with Alexis who is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to diamonds as well as watches. I am not typically an advocate of doing business with friends, however, when deciding on an engagement ring you have to work with someone you can trust. We sourced the diamond separately and then built a custom shank around it during about a 6 month process. Alexis and team were patient and had our best interest in mind. I couldn't be more pleased with the result and the amount of effort from Alexis - which was consistent for 6 months. Her approach to educate her customer resulted in easy and clear decisions when customizing the ring. Alexis went above and beyond and helped mold a vision into a real tangible custom ring. The Armstrong Rockwell team had the shank built custom by their CAD designer in NYC to help complete the vision. These are professionals with a professional network. The result, flawless.

Al Armstrong and his daughter have a new store on Trumbull Street in Hartford, CT. They have a beautiful assortment of Hearts on Fire diamonds that can be placed in any setting of your choice. Plus, for those looking to buy your future husband a wedding gift, there are many gorgeous watches to choose from.

Al, the owner, is a fun and highly knowledgeable guy that will be sure to teach you everything you need to know about buying diamonds. I appreciated that the most so that 1) when you look at the diamonds he shows you that you know they are legitimate and 2) I can catch someone trying to sell me garbage anywhere else. However, after spending time with Al, I won't be shopping anywhere else.
