Arch Events was started by two wildly extroverted, fun-loving gals who found ourselves working in the events industry through unconventional, inadvertent routes. Once we had a taste, we were hooked on the beauty, passion, excitement & grit that makes up every moment of the planning process.

At Arch Events, we aim to turn the rigid, often stressful process into a playful, creative & collaborative endeavor. We know that each client is unique, and therefore, each planning process should be too! Our goal is to keep it real with you, share a few laughs and a few drinks while creating an unforgettable experience from the moment your initial consultation starts until the DJ announces the final dance. Ultimately, when you book with us, you’re booking with friends.

Simply the best!

Where to even begin? From the beginning, my partner and I felt taken care of and understood by Monica and Allyson. They helped create our event and truly shaped it into our dream vision. They helped coordinate all of our vendors and worked in perfect harmony together to make planning process stress free. Professional to the max!

On our big day, Monica, Allyson and Cassidy made sure the set went smoothly, all the vendors arrived and that we were in the right places at the right time. The three of them went above and beyond to take care of us and our families. Throughout the event they took fabulous photos and videos to ensure we had amazing content to look back on and remember the day. The content was perfect for sharing the moments on social media.

Monica and Allyson were born to plan events! Look no further when searching for an event planner. In the words of Tina Turner… they are simply the best!

Monica and the Arch Events team were instrumental throughout our wedding planning process. A Delight to work with!

How do you properly rank someone who became your wedding hero. Monica and her staff were a delight to work with from the beginning. She connected us with all our vendors, people I would never have found. Her sense of humor put us at ease throughout the process. But her real super human gifts came into view when it became clear that a tropical storm would be the unwanted guest at our outdoor wedding. A decision was made to move our outdoor wedding forward by 24 hours to avoid the storm with just 2 days notice. Monica launched into hero mode contacting and cajoling every single one of our vendors to move to the new earlier day. She was calm, cool and collected throughout and kept us calm saying often "we've got this". And most importantly, she was effective. She understood our vision and pulled it off... a day early! It was a beautiful wedding under the stars and that would not have happened without Monica. She has my respect and highest recommendation. Jim & Tripp

Allyson originally hails from Reading, PA, but her love of all things New York started at a very young age. She began her career in large-scale event production, serving multiple seasons on the producing team of events such as Billboard’s Women In Music Awards, The CFDA Awards, The International Emmy Awards & The American Theatre Wing Gala, amongst many more.

In her years of event production, Allyson has had the honor of working with celebrities such as Rihanna, Ariana Grande, 50 Cent, Jesse J, Pharrell Williams, Aretha Franklin, Tori Kelly, and countless others.

From the minute Allyson stepped onto the set of her first production gig, it was love at first sight so to speak. She was struck by the magnetism, the beauty, and the palpable energy that drives the events industry. From there, she moved into food and beverage management where she honed her skills in vendor communications and her love of a well-balanced cocktail before transitioning into the catering industry where she fatefully met Monica and the idea of Arch Events grew.

When she’s not nose-deep in wedding designs, you can find Allyson performing onstage with the singers of Guilty Pleasures Cabaret or whipping up custom cakes and cookies in her Manhattan kitchen. A Taurus woman through and through, Allyson is driven by a harmony of passion and creativity.

Monica has always been drawn to events and hospitality. Maybe because her family was always hosting parties, or because she grew up working in hotels and restaurants in the Hamptons. Whatever the appeal, she found herself in the wedding industry by accident, and a happy one at that. While working as a radio DJ, a hotel concierge, and a myriad of other odd jobs, she was presented with an opportunity to join a high-end wedding planning organization in East Hampton, NY. The rest was history.

She was first drawn to the beauty of it all, but she quickly fell in love with the logistical aspect of things; how planning a wedding weekend is a dance in which the planner is always two steps ahead. It’s challenging and exciting, and it keeps her sharp. And even though the Hamptons are home to her, NYC was always in the cards for Monica. In 2019, she made the move westward and into the catering industry, where she met Allyson—perhaps another happy accident!

Monica currently resides in Astoria, Queens. When she’s not tweaking a timeline or learning to master the art of social media, she is writing poetry, hitting a Vinyasa flow on the mat, or binge watching Law & Order: SVU with a glass of nero d’avola in hand. She has two pups who she adores, Molly & Harvey. And for those astrology lovers out there--she’s a Scorpio Sun, Scorpio Moon, Capricorn Rising, so you know you’re in wild, driven, passionate and hardworking company!
